My husband and I currently planning our annual Disney vacation for this fall! With all the possible fall discount rumors going around I started to think about discounts I would like to see. We have all heard of or experienced free dining and room discounts but what about something different? If you could create an atleast somewhat realistic Disney vacation Discount what would it be? I personally would love to see something inspired by cruise line! When you book a Walt Disney world resort hotel you receive unlimited trips to that hotels food court included in the total cost! Similar to Cabanas onboard the Disney cruise line ships! The other restaurants within your hotel would not be included and only the food court at your hotel would be included. Obviously this would be great for us guests to save money but could double as a small impact on crowd control. If guests are in the parks and have the option of convenient food they have to pay for or to travel back to their resort hotel for a free meal at least a portion would chose to save the money. If guests are periodically leaving the parks for meal times this could make a tiny impact on the number of guests in the parks at any given time during the day. Do I think Disney will try my discount idea? Probably not but hey it's fun to think of something new! What would your Create Your Own Disney Discount be? Do you think Disney will ever try a new type of vacation discount?

As a Canadian, I'd love to see the return of the 90s era "at par" Disney tickets. At one time (when our Canadian dollar was equally as low as it is now compared to the US dollar) Disney offered Canadians theme park tickets "at par" with our dollar. So, instead of paying $130 Canadian for a $100.00 U.S. ticket, we paid $100.00 Canadian for a $100.00 US ticket. It was gold! Disney, bring this back!!!!!!!!!!!!

That would be a great one to bring back!

We enjoyed a package at Tokyo Disneyland last month that included hotel, ph tickets, set amount of paper fastpasses, monorail passes, breakfast buffet ea day, and unlimited non alcoholic drinks such as soda, slushes, coffees at the parks. I thought especially the drinks were unusual for a Disney Park.

Shanghai had a spring season pass that was a limited time, only a few hundred $ (worth it for only a 3 day stay) that also gave you 10-20% e-vouchers for food, merchandise, hotel.

Think tickets for one stay that includes discounted memory maker for your trip could be nice. Other than park access, it’s probable the second best perk to the AP for us, and we’re not really able to go several times in a yr anymore.

Our next trip is thanksgiving at WDW and with already having tickets/AP we’re simply hoping for late Fall room only discounts, but most of us don’t expect them to come.

Mine is a simple one Parking. If I am paying them 20K+ for a trip they least they could do is let the car park for free.
