Crazy to do Epcot on an EMH morning when staying offsite?

For complicated reasons involving tours and ADRs, we might need to "Rope Drop" Epcot on an EMH morning. Only problem is: we're staying offsite. :headache:

If that weren't bad enough, we'll be visiting mid-March, when crowds will definitely be high. (Though, from the looks of it lately, when are they not?)

Are we going to run into hour-long waits at Soarin' and Test Track right off the bat? I can't grab any FP+ for that morning, because I'm keeping them for MK later that day.

Just wondering if this is worthwhile at all. I do have another Epcot day scheduled, but I'm using our FP+ for FEA, so Soarin' and TT are looking doubtful. We could live without doing TT on this trip, but Soarin' is one of our favorites.

Thanks in advance!

If you can I would avoid Epcot on an emh when you're off site.

For when you get there, I'd anticipate Soarin and TT to be fairly lengthy waits already

I figured as much, but needed confirmation.

Thank you! Sometimes, you just can't make everything work. I may have to give up an ADR and head to Epcot on a non-EMH day instead.

Well, I'll put a different spin on it, as we only stay offsite, and frankly I don't even pay any attention to what park has EMH because we don't care. If you want to hit Epcot, then I'm sure TT and Soarin' will have lines if it was EMH. However, same day FP+ are easy to get at MK, so no need to "save" them. If you want to hit Epcot that morning and have park hoppers, then go for it. We do it all the time.

We're not hopping to MK until dinnertime, so I doubt there will be many FPs left at that point, unfortunately. I'd like to have 3 set to go on such a busy day.

Thanks for your input, though. It probably wouldn't be such a terrible thing to have to wait for Soarin'. We could always skip TT. Hmm...

It definitely will be busy but if you get FP for the rides you really want you should be fine. It is usually worse when Epcot has evening EMH.

Another thing to keep in mind that TT or Soarin' aren't really that hard to get FP+ for same day...nor are most things at MK, even during a "busy" day. If you're in Epcot during the evening and it's a 9pm park close, get in line for Soarin' at 8:45. In our experience, it's just about a walk on at the very end of the evening. TT is always busy, but FP+ isn't hard to get.
