Crazy Question - AoA Cars Suite or Poly Room?

We stayed at AoA Cars this year and absolutely loved it! We also would never be able to afford the Poly in a million years. Just from eating breakfast there, I think you made a nice choice. :thumbsup2

If your kiddos are still into Cars, you can always hop a bus together and take a ride down just to check out Carsland while they're still little enough to believe they really are walking around Radiator Springs. Shucks, I'm in my 20s and I believed it! At dusk with the neon turning on is even better. Have a great trip! (eta to note: It's only about a 5-8 minute ride away from Hollywood Studios.)

Thanks everyone... We are still cringing at how much this trip is costing, but as much as I love WDW, the kids are at the 'magic' age where everything is real -- and I think this will enhance the overall magic for them.

We will absolutely go visit AoA and check it out, however. DS will still love to visit.

To answer a couple of questions: Grandma has no interest in the parks, even for half days. She IS coming to MNSSHP with us, however, but otherwise doesn't want a park ticket... so that works out well for us :)

Grandma also absolutely prefers the Poly, but would never suggest it as she knows the cost... so this is a REAL treat for her!

We've done POR and I wouldn't be able to do it with 5 people. With just 4 of us it felt cramped. It doesn't seem like much, but the Poly rooms are much bigger (from memory) and the pull-out or day bed will make all the difference. Still not as much room as AoA suites -- but I'm hoping it does us for the 10 days.

As for CR? Are the rates generally better than the Poly?

The rooms in the garden wing (3 story building behind tower) are slightly cheaper than the standard view at Poly but the rooms at Poly will be bigger. There is also BLT, you could see about renting points there. The cost to rent a 2 bedroom might be a little cheaper or about the same as the Poly. It's worth checking into. You can also walk to MK from there.
