We are so excited! My family (8) use table service dining as a way to slow down and catch up with stories of our daily adventures in the park. We have all our ADRs. We try to eat twice a day. Does anyone else do this?

We may go in October was it hard to make reservations for dining? They had Free dining into Oct. Last year I am a little bummed but that is okay. Crowds may be better.:wizard:

Mom liked the idea of DDP, and now so do I!
With 8 days in WDW (7 park days), and first visit for the kids, I have a feeling we could get very caught up in GO GO GO. I love the idea of a sit down meal each evening to STOP and breathe....
We will do an early CS meal each day to ensure we will be hungry for dinner; breakfast early in room.
No free DDP in Oct this year (shoot...shoulda gone LAST year!). I made ADRs at 177 days for 6 people. No issues except Le Cellier...had to choose late ressie or split tables. We took the split.
Oct. is fairly low season (not value...) so I would guess it wouldn't be too hard, especially if you are flexible. BUT with the rumor of tips needing to be paid OOP starting in Jan, theoretically it could cause a flurry of DDPers the rest of this year...whether that comes to fruition or not, well, we shall see.....

I just made ADR's for some of our October stay. I got all that I requested even Le Cellier, at about the times I wanted. I will make the rest today or tommorrow. I did make LLT a few weeks ago because we wanted dinner there on a MNNSHP evening.

We will be flexible and cancel if we change our minds but we want to be prepared so... we have a lot scheduled. With a group of 8 we figured we might have a little more trouble trying to make last minute ressies. We did have to make some changes in times but overall got what we want. It feels good to know that we won't have to wander around finding a place to eat.
Here's our plan ---
Oct 4th - Beaches & Cream followed by MNSSHP
Oct 5th - Coral Reef (lunch) and eat around the world (F&W Fest)
Oct 6th - Breakfastouraus and Boma (dinner)
Oct 7th - H&V character breakfast and Brown Derby Fantasmic dinner
Oct 8th - Ohana (breakfast) and Raglan Road (dinner)
Oct 9th (my 30th bday) - CRT (lunch) and Cali Grill (dinner)
Oct 10th - Primetime 50s (lunch) and Le Ceiler (dinner)
Oct 11th - Cape May (breakfast) and La Nouba followed my Wolfgang Upstairs
Oct 12th - Whispering Canyon (lunch) and Rose and Crown (7:30 - cross your fingers for us to get patio)
Oct 13th - Norway (lunch) and Mexico (dinner)

I know it's a lot but I think it will work well for our family.
