So BF came to visit, we haven't seen each other for a few weeks.
I'd been planning a really romantic dinner for him and it took me hours to cook.
So we're halfway through our romantic meal, enjoying spending time together at last...and crazy housemate comes in....drunk.

She sits down at the table, picks up the chicken (which we hadn't finished eating!) and starts eating it, with her HANDS!

At this stage it was hard to be annoyed. BF and I like a good laugh and it was a pretty funny image. So then she starts talking...and talking...and talking....

I was still ok about it until it came time to clear up. I was stood by the sink washing up and SHE was sat at the table with my BF, just talking and talking and talking. Meanwhile I was clearing up not just our dinner, but her mess she made eating our dinner with her hands!

Like I said before, she's a nice girl so it's hard to get too angry, gatecrashing my romantic meal and monopolises BF's attention while I clear up after her....it tested my patience a bit :badpc:

Sounds like it's time for a new room mate! Is that possible for you?

Hey -- you know what they say -- payback stinks! So, I say it's payback time! I'm sure you can come up w/something!!!!!!!!!!!

Lol....any thoughts on what?

As far as getting a new housemate is concerned, its not something I'd consider, she's actually a fantastic housemate, she just has some odd boundary issues!

With all due respect, you are letting this girl walk all over you. Because she is "nice", you are allowing HER to set ALL the parameters of your relationship.

It's time to (politely) set her straight on her inappropriate behavior.

I deffinitely would not call a drunk girl who ate my meal and crashed my romantic night with a long distance bf "fantastic". She may be ok other than that but I'd say its time to have a talk about her "odd" boundry issues.

Yikes...why so long? :confused3
Both in our lasts years at university at different sides of the country. We have a lot of studying to do at the moment so less time to see each other :badpc:

JimB and Megster said everything I wanted to say!

How often does she get drunk and come home like that?

If it's once in awhile I'd just let it slide..

That was the only time since I've lived with her.
