crazy CC snokeling question

This will be our 9th DCL trip...but we have only been to CC once (once as cancelled to rough seas). As I have my own snorkeling gear (scuba gear), do I need to pay for the mandatory yellow float? I can bring my mask, snorkel and fins without a problem, but to bring my BC just takes up too much room. Must you use their yellow vest or can you snorkel without it? We are doing a back to back, thus we will be at CC twice in a week. Thanks in advance.

Float, jacket etc are all provided for free.

It's mandatory to wear there hi vis jacket.
