When we stayed at the WL the last time we had to call down to guest services to see if they had a stool for me to get onto the beds :lmao: . I am short and almost had to take a running leap to get into the bed at night, it was not a pretty picture:scared: . My question is, with the renovations are the beds the same height??

I have stayed in one of the refurbished rooms and understand your pain. I am 5ft tall and I do not recall having to 'climb' into bed.

Thanks...I was hoping that they were not as tall. I don't know what my family will find to laugh at now :rotfl: .

I remember getting a king bed at Caribbean Beach, and I needed a good jump to get on!! Maybe the king beds are taller than queen beds, I wonder! I am also barely five feet tall. Nice to know I am not the only one with this issue!

We were there this past June. The beds are definitely not as high as before. They are now on a solid base. The only thing I didn't like about this, was you could not store anything under the bed. I like to store the empty suitcases under the bed since they take up so much room. However, the good thing is they don't have those large bed frames anymore that stick so far out. I was always bumping my knee or foot on those old beds.:)

Yes, lower AND the knee crushing bedposts at the bottom are GONE :goodvibes

Oh, those old beds! My mom is petite, and she had such a hard time getting in those beds. We started calling it the MK's 4th mountain!:rotfl:

LOL, we've not stayed at WL since the rennovations to the room, but that is funny! At home we have a huge rice carved 4 poster bed and when my wife was expecting our first child I pretty much had to pull her up into the bed (she was used to getting a running start!). We ended up buying a stepstool to accompany the bed it's so high off the ground!
