Cranes in Germany Pavilion???

I was at Food and Wine on both Friday and Monday. I noticed on Monday there were cranes behind the Germany pavilion. Are they there for holding right now or is there an unannounced project in Germany?

I think it is going over by Caribbean Beach Resort, the area that was demolished not too long ago.

Unsure right now. It will have 8 floors of guest rooms with a rooftop restaurant with fireworks viewing.

This will give you an idea of where Riviera is behind the WS. It also makes it look like hiding backstage is a thing of the past..

Maybe they're finally going to develop the Rhine River attraction that was initially planned for the pavilion when Epcot Center opened.

It would be if they fit in. Swan and Dolphin stick out like a sore thumb. Disney at least painted ToT the color it is to match Morocco.

I'm always amused by this. As long as you're standing in the right spot on WS, then yes that's the case.

I find it harder to see ToT from world Showcase than the swan and dolphin though.

I like the Swan and Do!phin but not as a part of World Showcase. That separation doesn't seem important any more though.

If it is a riviera themed hotel I would imagine the buildings would fit in with a European skyline.
