I just recently had the cranberry relish from Boston Market, it was fabulous! Tasted a little orangy, not too sweet or too tart, and it had nuts in it... pecans, I think. Does anyone have this recipie from Boston Market, or one similar?

I found this recipe on a copycat site, but I have no clue what "2 pcs horizont" could be!

BOSTON CHICKEN CRANBERRY SAUCE
Copycat
Yield: 3 Servings

1 lb Can jellied cranberry sauce
1 Jar Smucker's Simply Fruit (10 ounces) Orange Marmalade
¼ tsp Ground ginger
2 c Fresh cranberries -- each
2 Pcs horizont -- (2 to 3)
1/3 c Walnuts -- chop fine

In 2-quart saucepan, over medium-to-low heat, use rubber bowl scraper to stir together jellied sauce, marmalade and ginger until melted, about 6-8 minutes. Add the sliced cranberries, keeping sauce on low. Stir often. Continue cooking and stirring often until cranberries are no longer white and taste tender to the bite (not soft, but not too crisp). Stir in walnuts. When cooled to lukewarm, refrigerate, covered and use with a week to 10 days. Should freeze well to be used within 4 months. Source: Gloria Pitzer.

I have 2 other recipes for it.

Cranberry-Orange Relish
4 c cranberries
2 oranges
3 apples
2 c sugar
Wash berries & grind through food chopper. Wash & core apples; chop very fine. Peel oranges & remove seeds. Grind rind & oranges through chopper. Mix ingredients together & add sugar. Let stand in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours before serving. Serve 8

Relish Salad
4 c cranberries
2 oranges
3 apples
2 c sugar
Wash berries & grind through food chopper. Wash & core apples; chop very fine. Peel oranges & remove seeds. Grind rind & oranges through chopper. Mix ingredients together & add sugar. Let stand in refrigerator for 12 to 24 hours before serving. Serve 8

Relish Salad
3 oz pkg strawberry jello
1 c boiling cranberry juice
1 c cold cranberry juice cocktail
1 Tbl lemon juice
1 orange – pulp, juice & skin
1 apple
½ c celery, chopped
¼ c pecans, chopped (or walnuts)

Pare, core & chop apple. Thoroughly wash orange & quarter. Squeeze & reserve juice. Remove all white skin segments from orange & combine pulp with apple, celery & nuts. Remove white pith from orange peel & discard. Chop orange peel & add to apple mixture. Dissolve jello in boiling juice. Add cold juices. Chill until slightly thickened. Fold in fruit/nut mixture. Chill thoroughly.

Thank you.

Has anyone else ever heard of horizont?

Sorry - I forgot to add that I thought maybe it was a "typo" so I did a Google search for "horizont". I got quite a few hits, but couldn't really read any - other than the ones with the recipe - because they were in another language. I couldn't tell which it was, though.

Since the instructions tell you to add "the sliced cranberries," I'll bet it's a typo for:

2 c. fresh cranberries -- each sliced in 2 pieces horizontally (or 2 to 3 pieces)

It's the only thing that makes sense to me. I might give it a try closer to Thanksgiving. The recipe sounds wonderful!
