Robbie - I am not very computer savy so I need your help. When I clicked on the website that you gave us, I pulled up FFD show and there was like 6 downloads to choose from. Which one do I choose?????

If I may, Heidi, (and correct me if I'm wrong, Robbie) - I selected the one with the most current date after it (which was 02-03-06), but I suspect any one of them will work fine. I did have to download a program to "unzip" the .rar file (I used winace instead of winrar).

I was blessed to marry a woman who think Valentine's Day is a bunch of hooey, so we aren't doing anything. DS is getting valentines, which is really what is important. He already got that Hallmark lion with the mane shaped like a heart.

Heidi, sorry about that, I could have sworn I posted a direct link to download the file itself, not the list of each. Although you could download the most recent, I had linked the group to the first one, only because the more recent ones depend on processor abilities which you may or may not have. Basically, if you have a Pentium 3 or 4 processor in your computer, you are fine with the most recent one. Otherwise, just use the first listed.

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY EVERYONE ​

Jrsy, I always thought it was just my DH and myself that never bought the gifts etc on Valentines Day. Glad it isn't just us!

All this talk about computer stuff has me in amazement. I now know that I am definitely computer illiterate.

Well as far as plans today is my 14th year anniversary so yes we are celebrating. We are going out to eat at my favorite place. The kids are going to the IL's.

Sometimes I want something for Valentine's and sometimes I do not. LOL But since it is our anniversary as well I want at the least a card. I also asked for a heart necklace this year. Jeff did a great job with the one he picked out for me. We are also doing the cruise in April as part of our anniversary. I am trying to talk Jeff into a Europe cruise next year for our 15th year anniversary. I am not sure if today was only Valentine's day for me if I would care. I do not care about Christmas. Jeff and I normally do not do gifts for one another on Christmas. I mean we do and get so much through out the year it seems a bit cheesy for us to do Christmas too. I mean Jeff's Xbox that he waited in line to buy was a "Christmas" present. LOL
I ordered him the Nano Ipod for Anniversay/Valentine's Day.

I usually only get a card for V day. But this year my DH decided to surprise me and put a gift certificate in my card for a year of tanning. I was happy. I helped him buy his new seats he wanted for his car and got him 2 cards and I made him a CD with all our songs on it. We are going out for Italian food tonight.

Yesterday morning I put a rose and a card on Chris's work van before he left for work to suprise him. On Tuesday's he has breakfast at his favorite place so I put some cash in the card and said since I can't be with you to buy you breakfast, here is some money to have breakfast on me. He said he was very suprised when he saw it, he first thought he got a ticket for parking on the street when he saw it!!!!! Then I took him to one of his favorite restaurants which is Outback and made chocolate covered strawberries and bought his favorite ice cream for dessert.

I was not expecting anything from because he is saving his money up to fix his car, but I came home to a card and heart balloons tied to a heart candle sitting on the coffee table and then walked to the kitchen to put my stuff away to find a HUGE flower arrangement on the counter. It was very nice of him.

Dinner was pretty exciting. We got there at 4:30 (30 minutes after they opened) and found an hour wait, which turned out to be actually and hour and a half wait. Thankfully there was Happy Hour with two-for ones. Combine Happy hour with the wait time and we had a pretty tipsy Heidi. Chris went to go check to make sure they didn't forget about us and when he left they paged us, I jumped up screaming like I had won the lottery. We were talking with 2 other couples and they were cheering with me. Chris said he heard me clear across the restaurant, oops. I filled up on Malibu and an appetizer that I didn't have room left for the entree, so that is for lunch today!!!

I have to go spend 8 hours in defensive driving training at work, it is a requirement that every Reclamation employee take the training.....yuck. Have a great day.

Hope all had a great (and successful) Valentines Day
I made my red food dinner and CANNOT believe I forgot to make that gingerale jello! I just thought of it now!!! Oh well, I ran out of time like I will between now and the cruise!!! TEN more days.
My DH got me a gift certificate to get a manicure and a pdeicure for the cruise. That was great and now I am excited!
We all (except one) went tanning last night too, Marcie! It has become a family bonding event!
I put the names on all the pillow cases last night so I will iron them today and wrap tem and put them under the tree with all the other Mickey surprises.
I heard the weather is not great for the ones that are cruisin now and that had me bummed. How bad is this? I was looking at a pic somebody posted of waves coming up over the bow.AS I SAT IN MY CHAIR AT THE COMPUTER AND LOOKED... I actually got seasick!!!!!! How bad is that??!! NOT a good sign... between that pic and the preview to Poseidon Adventure that I did NOT want to see, I m getting VERY nervous.
It is official... we are NOT going to Coz and we are going to Costa Maya instead. Are there any papers on the Disney Cruise website in the documents area that I can pull up and sign ahead of time? Do I have to sign a paper for each party or each person? Did I already askt his question before??? Oh my.... Hope all is well with everyone! Happy Day! Karen

Cruise questiion... they take cash at guest service... right? The Arcade.... do you put the money for it IN the arcade or at guest services.... can the card be used at other places or just in the arcade?

Aerial bought a video arcade card in Quarter Masters (the arcade). She used her KTTW card. So it will be on your shipboard account at guest services after that.

Karen, you can set up a cash account at Guest Servies instead of using a credit card. You just have to settle up at the end of the cruise. Where if you do the CC account you do not have to go to Guest Services. they will stick a final bill under your door late on your last night.

I always go to Guest Services upon check or shortly after to make various reservations that are only made there. I only go back to do the tips. I do this on the second or third day into the cruise. I do not leave cash for tips. I mgiht should but I do not like carrying cash around. I go early into the cruise just so I will not have to wait in line at the end of the cruise.

You can only buy the Arcade cards with your KTTW card. Disney prides itself on being cashless. LOL

Karen I forwarded one of your emails and deleted all the top off but left your signature with the actual joke. I had all of my friends wanting to know why I had not told them I was cruising in 11 days.

January and February are know for high seas. But you will be fine. Just pop in some meds and go on. Sorry about the Cozumel stop. RCI is still going there for now. They are teetering. I can see why Disney did not want to do that in rough seas. I do not get seasick but I came close 2 years ago in February on a teetered port. We were one of the first groups on the boat to go to port. So we had to wait until the boat filled up to leave. It was a beauitful sunny day. I was looking at the ship and realized I could see the shadow of the boat in the ship. I started seeinig how high the waves were. Then I started noticing hte water coming in the boat. I started to get so sick. I just reminded myself to look out at the horizon and that did the trick. It was a little scary we were evacuated from RCI's Coco Beach due to a storm coming. The storm went around us but it hit back home. We got snow and ice. It never fails when we go away in february we fly from some where warm to snow and/or ice.

Robbie... I TRIED to look at those video pics and I got real nervouse doing the downloading thing.... I have been a mess since I downloaded limewire for my iPod.I am scared I am going to mess up my computer. But I am dying to see the footage. I SO do not know what I am doing when it comes to that tech stuff. As it is when I get back.... IF I can figure out how to get my pics ONTO my computer, I have to send them to Heidi to put themon the boards!!! I am so bad.... than God for kids!!!! (Only reason I have tunes on my iPod).
OK... next time you hear from me it will be 10 days!!!! OMG!!!!

Karen, you crack me up! It is fun reading your posts about everything you are doing and all your questions. It makes me long for our cruise. Remember, we went through hurricane seas during our PC cruise. I honestly think that we didn not get sick because we are very big on taking meclazine every day just in case. So when the hurricane hit our bodies were ready. Our friends were not so lucky! We were just watching our video of the cruise and watching the waves and the horizon. It could make a person sick just watching it. I can't imagine that was the highlight of Ted's (dh) and my cruise!

Sounds like Valentines Day was a good one for all.

American Idol was good last night. I did not get to see all of it but most of it.

Sandy, I love you. You are the best! Your hugs made me cry. I did not get the mail yesterday. Jeff came in with the kdis from basketball practice last night with the mail. Erik came running in, Daddy has a small package for you. I was thinking it was something I had ordered recently. Jeff took a while to come infromt he car he was listening to a basketball game on the radio. He came in and handed me this package. I tear it open and see your card. You are truly one of the best. This group is the best. I love you all!! In a day in age when you can meet some pretty strange people on these boards I think we all got lucky when Sandy started all of this...

Is Karen gone now? Did they leave for Disney already??? Is she going to check the board while gone???
