Heidi, glad that you and dad had a good time. You shouldn't count how many times someone falls. They started closing the tunnel yesterday due to the carbon monoxide. I don't think they have ever done it before. Jrsy Boy might know more about that!

I will keep my eyes out for flip flops as well. They should be coming out soon because I have seen the swimsuits out already.

No football for me this weekend and no football snacks....darn it! The best part of the super bowl is the snacks.

Karen, keep trying on the quote thing. It took me a long time to figure everything out as well. Poor Heidi has had to show me how to different things and/or just plain do it for me.

I heard it was last weekend when they had to intermittently close the tunnel to prevent build up of too much carbon monoxide. I believe that is only when traffic is at a stop inside the tunnel. When traffic is moving, the exhaust fans can vent it well enough.

My brother works at the Holland Tunnel as a first responder, so yes you are right about the carbon monoxide. They need ventilation all the time, but if traffic is awful it can build up. (esp if one lane is closed!)
I went to Target yesterday and I bought the Funky Monkey socks! They really do say that!
Thank God no one counted how much I fell last time I went skiing!
I've only been twice in my life. And wow! Actually the first time was the worst! It's harder to learn when you're older- further to fall!. My little nephews fell a few times, but by the afternoon were swishing with the little poles tucked under their arms! And I was accumulating more and more snow in my ski pants. lol.
Anyway, I have a ton of school work to do today bc yesterday I had a family party thing.
Ever since I started working three nights a week on top of my schedule, I"m really behind everything- like checking the DIS, cleaning, talking to friends, etc. I've got to get back on track!
Anyway, lots of love to you guys, and I will post some pics and the rest of the report sometime this month! Hey! It's better than false promises! I'll try my best!

Good Morning everyone. Jrsy I have to go and read that link. I don't have time now because of work. This week is going to be rough. Well let me say this month is going to be. We start IPT testing again today. The IPT test is a 4 part test given to ESL students to see where they fall in levels. It takes about 2 months to do every part of the test with every ESL student. Tomorrow we will begin the Computer testing again. That will last for several weeks. I hate when we have more than one test being given a day. It makes for a very hard day and we have this going on for about a month. Oh I hope I make it....

I screamed and yell through out the whole game. Boy was it an exciting one. I wish though it would have been my Pathners in there with my Steelers. Now that would have been fun.

Good morning everyone! Friday at work my boss got us all flu shots. Well by Saturday my arm had a red welp about the size of an orange and yesterday I started running a fever. I am pretty weak today. I'm going to stay home today. My boss is going to be soooo happy. LOL.

Selena - sounds like a very busy weeks for you and not a lot of fun. I thought of you yesterday when the Steelers won. My boyfriend was ectatic that the Steelers won. Our phone was ringing off the hook last night with people congratulating him that his team won, including my best friend's DH!!!!!

Marcie - uh oh, sounds like you had an allergic reaction. How horrible. I hate flew shots to begin with and then if that ever happened to me I know I would never get it again!!!! I hope you feel better.

I have a question about trip insurance. Who uses Disney's travel insurance or who gets their own through a different company? I signed up for Disney but read that it will not cover airfare or the WDW stay before the cruise. So I went to tripinsurance.com and was overwhelmed and not sure what to choose and what I need. Can anyone help me? (Yes Jrsy...I also posted this on the CO Cruisers thread!!!)

Sandy, I went through Disney and I thought he said if you book your cruise and flight for the cruise through Disney the flight is covered. My sister boked her flight on her own so that won't be covered... she gave herself time to get in in case of bad weather.
Jersy.... Being from [even] Upstate NY..... I remember those hard rolls!!!!! Yummy!! Can't find them like that any more!!!!! But the link..... you just make me laugh!!! Normally you can get a better price by some research and not using the Disney insurance. And no it will not cover airfare that you purchased seperately.

Oh this has been one of the worst days of my life. My son's heart was broken by two adults and I can not fix it. Mommys are suppose to be able to fix things and this one I can not fix. Even if I could I do not know if I would want to fix this problem. What is this world coming to where adults would take out their personal feelings on a child. Be mad at me but do not take it out on my son!!!

Hello, hello, hello. Just checking in.

I have always taken the easy road and bought Disney's insurance. It is so confusing when you go on the other site. Karen, your trip is coming soon. Did you buy insurance? Where?

Ok, so I am wanting to go on the Med cruise if it happens. What are some of your favorite cabins? I am always in 5520 or 2000. Would love to try another kind of stateroom or another part of the ship. Any ideas? Lulu, what cabin did you just have? Marcie, which one do you have coming up? Karen, what do you have? I have never had a verandah. Can't justify the money but maybe we should treat ourselves. We are always up front, which I LOVE but why not try something different. As you can see, I am doing my homework BEFORE they open up the reservations.

Heidi, it was so hard saying goodbye to Bonnie. We cried, as always, but at least we know we will see each other on the 10 day Wonder.

Lulu, I am really impressed that your boyfriend signed up. He will have to check in with us!
