OMG Have I already forgotten where you guys are going this weekend??? I don't have time to re-thread.... give me a clue....
Just got back from Target abnd they have a starbucks there and I tried the eggnog latte'... when out of my small box and it was worth it. So was the teeny tiny small raspberry cookie they sell seasonally. You MUST try them next time.The raspberry ones were the best.
Next....Heidi, your mom just gave you a great hint for a present for her!!! I caught on and hope you did too!!!

Karen, it wasn't a hint. I tried that last year! You know what I want? DISNEY MONEY!!!! ONBOARD CREDIT!!! That would be great spending money on the ship. I did get 500.00 shipboard credit when we booked but that isn't near enough. How old is your granddaughter?? I am here at home with a 3 year old that I watch on Tues and Thurs. She is a good girl. I watch her 7 year old brother when he is out of school.

I am busy making chex party mix and the next thing will be kettle korn to take to the cabin. Gotta munch with the rum and juices!

We just got bad news on my DH's uncle. He was put into a hospice. Gosh, it has been a horrible year with losing my FIL, my mom, our friend isn't expected to live long and now the Uncle. How much more can we take????

Heidi, another thing I want for Christmas is one of the Little House sets 2-6.

I had forgotten when our date was to open so when I mailed my package I made sure it well out quickly

Sandy and Heidi I am so sorry for your losses this year. How terrible.

All of my dad's brothers are dead...Last Uncle died while in the Bahamas. All three died very quickly and totally unexpected. Well they all have heart problems but you would never know it. Uncle Junior died after he had walked in the mall with is wife. He sat down for a break and Aunt Louise went to buy a drink. She came back and he had passed. Uncle Charlie was at a church function. Had just literally finished singing the last of his solo and died. Uncle Willy passed in the back yard while working. All three had a massive heart attack. All three had heart problems. My dad had had one heart attack and other heart problems. I know this sounds bad but all I know is to hope he goes as easily as they did. My grandmother sufered for 9 years with heart problems before she died. I know how awful that. I worry though about my dad. him and mom are divorced. He lives by himself. I would hate to think he passes and it takes a while for anyone to discover him. He lives an hour away. Oh how sad....sorry did not mean to make it sad. Marcie has also had a hard year.

Selena, I know exactly what you meant about your dad going quickly. Of course, that is what we all want. Sorry to hear about the Uncles!! It is hard losing anyone but suddenly makes it worse! The peace of knowing they didn't suffer is nice, however.

Sandy ~ First, it HAS been a terrible year for you guys and believe me... I think of you all the time and it hurts knowing you have to constantly have pain thrown your way. I do pray that next year is a better one and happier one also.
Next my as perfect as you can get without actually BEING perfect grandaughter ( ) is 4 years old. She really is the light of my life.

Yes, I will be home for Thanksgiving. I made the cranberry sauce tonight. Just finished putting it away. I'm making my pumpkin pies tomorrow and some other things. I have a half day of school, so I get out at 1pm, which is nice. I'm going to go to Curves and then start my stuff! I am making vodka and light cranberry juice cocktails too. With my sister in law I need *something*! On Thursday night, I am going with my *sort of semi mother in law* (my boyfriend's best friend's mom) shopping! She's picking me up, we're driving to her house in the Poconos and hitting the outlets w my boyfriend's best friend's girlfriend. She treats us both like daughters. she treats Rob (my bf) like a son, too. He's known her since he was 5 and she's taken care of him a lot cause his mom's not the best.

Karen, I give you a lot of credit for Thanksgiving favors. Thanksgiving already has so much work, and I hope everyone appreciates it.

I'm trying to learn how to make door signs. That's my newest project. lol

I,too, have Disney dollars on my list in the number one spot!

I have over 140 Disney Dream Reward dollars too (141 or 145, I forget) and soem old travelers checks I found in my room to spend. So I'm excited.

Selena I will definitely pray that your dad stays healthy and passes on when he's ready quickly and peacefully.

I will also look for the truffles recipe- it's in a little Pillsbury cookbook. I just subbed Irish Cream for Cream Sherry and it was awesome.

Sandy, did you get eh onboard cred for booking with a TA? or what? I would *love* that! lol

Heidi, your bil has a cabin, you said so I have to ask- do you mean a log cabin? Is it a full log home, vacation home, etc.? I ask because my bf's dream has always been to build a log home from the ground up and live there.

I can't wait to watch the Peanuts Thanksgiving! It's so silly, but childhood traditions really stick with you!

Jrsy . . . what are you drinking this weekend?

Dale's Pale Ale...brewed and canned in Lyons, CO. Well, that's just tomorrow, actually. On Friday, we are planning to stop by both Rockies Brewing Company in Boulder and Odell Brewing Company in Fort Collins. We are doing some holiday shopping for beer gear, but I may have to sample a few cold ones as long as we are there. Its an ambitious plan, especially with the CU/Nebraska game in Boulder on Friday afternoon, but we'll also make it into a letterboxing trip and DS will probably bring his Game Boy Advance to keep himself entertained between stops.
Thanksgiving dinner is with the in-laws, which is fine because I love my in-laws and I don't have to cook then. The only drawback is that they like to play football after eating while I like to watch it. At least they respect my tradition...

Anyway, you can be the umpire...mascot.. or whatever (not inot football... I am a Yankee fan.... no comments!). Who can even MOVE after Thanksgiving dinner? You are the smartest one!!!! Wouldn't want to cramp you up by running around on a full stomach!!! So you can coach!!!!
OK, I ksut got a call from my TA!!!!!!!! He got my check and will submit it to Disney for our DISNEY CRUISE!!!!!!!!! I am WAY too excited! Just ordered DH a set of Mickey cufflinks!!!!!!!

Depends on when you left. There are a ton of brewpubs, like Oskar Blues in Lyons and Wynkoop's (owned by the mayor of Denver) and Breckenridge Brewery in Denver, but there are also small breweries like New Belgium and Odell in Fort Collins, Rockies Brewing in Boulder, Great Divide in Denver and Lefthand in Longmont. Colorado is beer drinkers paradise!
