I am sitting here catching up on all that has gone on since I signed off last night and I am tearing.

Geez you guys I am not suppose to be crying!!

Marcie I hope you have an awesome time. We are truly going to miss you.

The drink receipes sound wonderful. I have a bottle of the Godvia liquior in my cabinet. I might have to try that receipe. The butterscotch sounds divine!

Starbucks...oh do I even go there ? I so love that place. I wish I had never gone in there for the first time. I would be so much richer.... I love the pumkin spice latter but normally only drink it until Thanksgiving. I did have a wonderful Gingerbread Latte last week. I tried the eggnog once last year and was not impressed. Of course as you all know it is totally up to the person making your latte on what it will turn up like. I recently saw they have a Chai Gingerbread latte I am thinking about ordering it next time. The Carmel Apple Cider is awesome!

Hey funky monkeys. I am sitting here trying to relax. LOL. I left work and went to Aerial's basketball game. She only played a half a quarter and got hurt. I didn't know exactly what was going on but she was holding her hand. I was thinking OMG we will be in the emergency room all night before our vacation. It looks like she just jammed her second knuckle. It's all swollen and her hand is swollen. She has her first 2 fingers taped. But could have been a lot worse. Phew.

The only thing I have left to pack is my makeup after I put it on in the early morning hours. I mopped my floor, cleaned up. Now it's time to relax.

Thank you all for all the kind words and help and support. I love you funky monkeys. I am sure somewhere along the week I will pop on here since I will have my laptop. I will miss you.

Jersey Boy, the only good things I could come up with about New Jersey is "New Jersey: We make pizza and bagels better than you" hahaha! or "We probably have more bars, too!" Did you see the "Governorship for Sale" one? haha

Anyway, ladies, I'm glad you liked the recipes. I am trying to diet so unfortunately I won't be making any of them anytime soon, though I am thinking of making some cape cods (diet cranberry juice and vodka) for Thanksgiving so I don't push my sister in law's head into the oven with the turkey.

I love Starbucks- gingerbread latte is my favorite, but I like pumpkin spice, too. I also like the Vanilla Spice at Dunkin Donuts. In summer, iced caramel macchiatto is the best. Never had the Caramel Apple Cider. Guess it's worth a try!

Sandy and Heidi, enjoy the snow, my boyfriend is soo jealous! He loves snow- looking at it, playing in it, everything; he used to be a snowboard instructor when he was in college, but now in NJ . . . . he can only dream! He has been snowboarding like five times in the last 2 years, with only once being last year, so he's really upset about that.

Marcie- I am so glad that Aerial is okay- that would have been horrible timing to be in the emergency room. Hope she's not in pain.

Can't tell you how much I love the fact that you are still putting on makeup so early. Last time I was on a flight, I was unhappy with my slipshod job on my makeup (just quick concealer, lip gloss and mascara) so I washed my face and did it on the plane. I was in my *fake eyelashes* fetish days (just the little cluster ones, not the strip lashes which can look tacky.) and I was putting them on on the plane! So funny!
Anyway, have a safe trip and a terrific, relaxing time with Dane and Aerial. Take pictures, have drinks, and enjoy every minute. I look forward to hearing about it!

Well lets see, 3 posters are cruising within the next 3 months, more posters have already cruised within the last few months and we all share our experiences with everyone. We share what drinks to try on the cruise with everyone, we help out with excursion information for the cruises, and we talk about what activities to go to on the cruise.

What's so unbelievable?

Marcie is off on her land/sea vacation. I am sure her and her family will have a blast. I hope she got everything settled with the Dolphin excursion, I have read that it isn't as good as it use to be, but I am sure it will still be a great experience for them anyway.

The only thing more unbelievable is that you felt compelled to post. What could you possibly have expected to gain by that? Luckily, this is a very polite group so if you are trying to get flamed, you'll have to try again somewhere else.
On the bright side, at least you pushed your number of posts up...

Luckily I am getting ready to send my "Secret Santa" package and am in a GOOD mood or I might have gone from monkey to ape with the comment from Meagan. I didn't think that was very nice. Thanks Jrsy Boy for speaking up for us.
Next... IMPORTANT question!! Needs to be answered quickly. Are we supposed to reveal our names in the Secret santa gift? I was on my way to the PO and realized I signed my name. So, before I leave again, I need to know what we are doing. Aside from that I am going to pay my CRUISE off (now, is all ok with posting on this thread Meagan???) and send out my gift!! I am very excited about both!!!!

Karen - You can sign the ornament inside the package, but when you package it up make sure the return address says my mom's name and address on it.

Heidi ~ I just repacked the whole thing, getting rid of any signs of me. I changed out the card and everything. I will send a card when I get the list of names and addresses and will reveal to the monkey who gave the gift. I DID have your moms name on the front box. I am going to have to wait until next week to go to the post office because the plumber is coming today and I cannot leave. No biggie... it is ready and maybe next Thursday I will get it out and it still will be there in plenty of time. Thanks for the reply though! Karen

Sandy I quite clearly remembering you asking your question that started this thread. I can't help as Jrsy Boy stated we are a polite group and we became friends...go figure

Now Meghan I hope you did not mean the comment you made to be taken the way it came out. But I agree whole heartly at least it bumped you to what number 27....

We are all just a bunch of cruise junkies that like to drink, share receipes and have a good time.....

I am thinking Meagan may not want to join this group of oh-so personal party monkeys!!!
Just got back from Starbucks... you guys got me thirsty and I can't drink my 151nog, so Starbucks (my fave) was in. I DID try the cider for the first time and it WAS pretty good!.
My oldest DD is bringing home sushi for us for lunch and then heigh ho heigh ho it's off to work I go. I have been waiting all day for the plumber to get here.... no laundry til he does.... looks like no laundry til at least tomorrow!!!
I bet Marcie is already having a ton of fun!!!!!
OK guys, I will try to talk this wekend. Have to take the youngest DD on a fishing trip for extra credit tomorrow and I work Sunday, so.... see you guys when I can!! Karen

Well my little Pooh friend!! I have actually caught things!!!! And not just a cold!!!!! I have caught small shark, squid, some kind of salt water catfish, grouper and I could go on and on. I even can put the frozen (but thawed) bait on the hook!!! Yes!!! Kudos for me!!!!! If I catch something, I start panicking because sssshhhh.... I odn't actually want to KILL it...... I just wanted to have fun. So I try to get someone to get the fish off the hook quickly!!!!! OK... I just ate sushi.... better not talk like this! Haha I have to go to work now.... I will let you know how I do!!! Karen
