Selena, I stink, STINK at Mario Kart to the point that it isn't even fun so don't feel alone.

Sandy, I tend to listen to who ever is in the room as I play and they tend to be telling me what to do. So I do what they say. Yesterday, Mac kept on saying go right go right...so I went right...well she meant left. I was on a beach track and I wound up going around backwards until I hit a sand dune that spum me around to where I was going to correct direction again. Mac and I were laughing so hard that we were crying. It was so patheic. lol I do know the concept of going backwards but I can not aways make that work for me to go back the correct direction. lol

Mom/Selena - if you stink, then you can always play with teams and if any of your teammates wins, then your entire team wins. Do you play with the wheel? My cousin finds it easier to play with the nunchuk.

I play with the wheel. It is all me. I make my turns to sharp and wind up in the grass, in a tree or somewhere I do not belong. I played so much yesterday my right hand was shaking from the exercise.

We have 6 inches of snow!!! We have not had a snow storm this big since 2004. It is so pretty.

After being off for 2 days though I am bored silly. I cleaned up my kitchen real well and cooked breakfast. Then cleaned it again. I have also done 2 loads of laundry.

Jeff has to go to High Point to work today. His first appointment is at 2 but he is going to leave at 11. High Point is 40 minutes away so that will probably be a 2 hour drive for him.

As far as I know Mac's appointment is still on for 4:30. I am planning on taking her still. Have no clue how long I should plan on the drive. I would hate for her to be late due to me. Temps are in the 20's and it's partly cloudy.

Okay, I am going to end up buy Mario Kart eventually. It sounds fun.

Guess what! I am taking Aerial and her bff to WDW in June!!! A girl I used to know from dis who now runs another board, called me on Saturday. Said she missed me and wanted me to go post on her board. She is in DVC and ends up telling me that she splurged and booked a 1 bedroom in June for 9 nights because she would lose the points if she didn't. So, she invited us, room free!!! All we have to do is buy tickets and pay for food and stuff. Oh and it has a kitchen so we can eat in a bit. We are staying at the BC Villas for 4 or 5 days and then moving to the brand new Villas at AK for the rest of the trip. I am so excited!!!! 3 months we will be back in Disney after almost 2 years. Marci has never been, so of course she is excited and Aerial is so excited to share it with Marci.

Oh and the girls I went to Vegas with want to have a 2nd annual trip in August. So, I get my adult trip too.!

I am so glad that my training back east is this weekend coming up and not this past weekend; I probably would have been still stuck in an airport. I heard that we set a record here in Denver for the least snowiest February in history.

Is there a return after each line of code when you pasted them in? You can put the code in and not even have a space between each of them and I think they will still each end up on a separate line.

Jrsy most airports up the eastern coast are closed or limited flying. This storm came in the way that we get our biggest snows, from the south. You combine that storm with the pressure system from the north and we have a nice snow. My friend in NJ said she has 10 inches and counting. NYC schools are closed for the first time in 5 years. Even SC got a lot of snow and had some major accidents yesterday which some were major pile ups on 85. Parts of our area had over a foot but that is not very close to us. My dad who is an hour away only had 1.5 inches and 10 minutes from his house has over a foot. This storm came with a lot of wind but over all no real big drifts.

Yes you are lucky you will have your training next weekend vs this past weekend.

How do I get my countdowns to not have spaces between them?

It takes a while to fix it. I normally have to go in and play a bit. I found if I do not save it prior to viewing it that I am better off. I go in and go to the end of the first countdown clock and hit delete then I view it. If 2 are on the line then I go in and hit the space bar. It really is trial and error for me.

Just got up the courage to weigh myself since the splurge at our friends house. I gained 1.6. It doesn't take much for me to zoom right back up there. I have to weigh in tomorrow and already trying to come up with an excuse not to go. Then this weekend Ted and I are celebrating our 34th anniversary and going to Colorado Springs. We are staying at an Embassy Suites where you get free drinks and appetizers from 5-7 and then free made to order breakfasts. Two days of that sounds like 10 pounds.

I love the Embassy Suites. That is where we stayed this summer. I took advantage of the free stuff every night but one. I would have taken advantage of that but our friends did not want to. We have stayed at that hotel many times.

Oh you guys are so lucky. I am still kicking myself over missing you guys a couple of years ago. Wow our schools are not even out until June 15 right now. That is so cool. We have had 3 snow days so we added a few days at the end.

Staff/teachers all have to work at least a week after students are done for the school year. If we have a lot of snow days those days are "made up" at the end of the year. By doing so, in the past, it did not add more work days at the end of the school year calender. Nomrally our snow make up days are the day before Thanksgiving, the first 2 days of spring break and then the rest are taken at the end of school. We have only taken the day before Thanksgiving once since I have been working in the school system. however, they always take spring break. Which stinks because we really have no time off after Christmas to spring break. I know they have to take the make up days somewhere but spring break is so important to re-energize. Students need this as do the teahcers and staff. I really wish they would take the days at the end of the year before they take our spring break. Like I said we have to work those days anyway. A week of time gets boring in my office. Oh goodness I hope my bosses do not read this. lol I only have so much to clear out to close up my office so a whole week normally gets long. Therefore, I would rather have a few of those days as student days.

I have to admit this year I am going to clear out the student files before I leave for the year. I am going to run a senior list and get rid of those files. Well I reuse files but I will put stickers on those files so they can be re-used next year. I am going to try very hard to use my work days to make my first week back the next school year go easier. However, then I will probably be made to fill in for guidance. I hate filling in for guidance because those parents are mean and I have no clue what needs to be done.

Out of school again today. I have a lunch date at 1:00 and Mac has a doctor's appt at 3. I am going to take Erik to Gamestop shortly. He bought/pre-purcahsed some game. It comes out today.
