Good morning everyone. A big wedding weekend. Tomorrow, Heidi and all the girls go try on bridesmaid dresses. Sunday, a big bridal show. Can't wait. Today, Heidi and I will shop.

Stephanie, I would think the teens could take the kind of meds that Marcie is having trouble with. That is what I meant. Your friend sounds like a person that takes advantage of people. If I were a vegan, vegetarian or strictly organic kind of person, I would NEVER expect anyone to buy "special" food just for me. I would ask if they would mind taking me to the store OR just keep my mouth shut. I know that you have now learned a lesson. In fact, I think she has too. I bet she realizes your feelings now. I guess with her beating around the bush is not good. If she asks again, firmly say no and that it wouldn't work with your schedule or be honest and say that it was hard on you the last time.

I actually don't think she even realizes that she is bugging the daylights out of us! LOL! She told everyone that she saw yesterday (We had to go several places and she meet a few of my friends) and everyone that she talked to on the phone how she couldn't sleep the night before until sunrise because she isn't getting enough exercise (I'm not stopping her from going out the door!!!!) or the correct foods at my house. Yea, it couldn't be because she was on the phone ALL night long?????

All of my friends that she said this to were silently laughing since I had already emailed them to vent about her keeping all of us up all night --- my 9ds was NOT happy in the morning. He asked me why she was so rude! LOL!
One of my friends even brought me reeses pb cups yesterday -- my candy of choice during stressful situations!

And I did take her to the grocery store with me and she could have bought whatever it was she wanted to eat! LOL! I really think she thought I was going to buy her what she wanted....uuummm...no. I didn't invite her here! LOL!

When she mentions how cold it is in my house (73 is NOT cold!!!) she tells me that she always uses a space heater at her house --- why the heck would I have a space heater???

I have less then 24 hrs with her and then I am home free......

She had mentioned that she would love to come to our rehearsals (myself and 16dd had rehearsals last night).... The director had to ask her to be quiet because she was talking so loud on her phone -- using the headset thing not using it like a phone -- in the theater when he was directing and people were trying to say their lines. DD & I were both on stage so we couldn't stop her from answering her phone and talking so loud that even on stage we could hear every word she was saying! No manners at all.

DH said that she is the most self absorbed person he has ever met -- and that's saying alot for him since his mother and brother are very self absorbed and he is usually immune from people like that.

The funny thing. She thinks that she is so much more aware then the *average* person. She believes because she is a *healer* (she has a Chinese medicine practice -- in either Denver or Lakewood) she is *in tune* with everyone that she meets.

Sandy, when I see the word *kids* I think under 12! LOL! You are right teens would use the same strength! And I have complained since we have 3 people in this house that use allergy meds -- 2 of them under 18!

Are you going to see "27 Dresses" before you go? I love that part from the commercial where she says "It was a theme wedding" and he says "What was the theme? Humiliation?"

I gave blood this morning. I am up to 1 1/4 gallons. We got free long-sleeved t-shirts for donating. Did I ever tell you that Tammy and I got in the Bonfils newsletter after we had Alex take a picture of us both wearing Bonfils t-shirts on Castaway Cay with the Wonder and the Flying Dutchman in the background?

Stephanie, she sounds a lot like my Mother honestly. The talking on the phone too loud in public. Talking on the phone all day when visiting. Rudeness. Yup, my lovely dear Mother.

I'm still sick. I did get some rest last night, and didn't do the treadmill this morning. I guess I'm not quite ready. I'm going to take a nap at lunch again. I think this is my last weekend off and I am going to sleep late!!!!

Jrsy, Ted has given sooo much blood, too. He is on the bad list right now for the places we have traveled. He absolutely HATES not being able to donate. (almost to the point to where he doesn't want to travel) Just last week he went in to see if he could donate and they told him no but he got a tshirt just for attempting and his several gallon history. I wish I would have paid more attention to Bonfils letters. I would love to see that picture. Can you post it?

Cool! I try to give on a regular basis since I have O- blood. All of our kids have either A or O positive (Dh's is A pos.).

What a lucky dd you are.......... What is wrong with people that they don't realize how rude that is???? I don't want to hear anyone else's conversation...ever! LOL!

Jrsy - loved the photo. Chris got a pin recently for his gallon, he was so proud. I am terrified of needles but hoping one of these days I will be brave to donate. We have Bonfils scheduled at our work, 2 days a month and they are swamped with employees wanting to donate.

I do feel a tad better today after my 20 minute lunch nap. I've done that 3 days in a row and have gone to bed early. I am sleeping as late as I can tomorrow then cleaning my house and grocery shopping. Hopefully by then I will be caught up.

Steph, one time my Mom stayed at my house for a week and stayed on the phone the entire time. I would have to ask her to get off the phone to visit with me. Well, she lived in Louisiana and didn't yet have the out of state calling on her cell phone. She called me later in the month to tell me she was outraged because her bill was over $300 and there was no way she stayed on the phone that much. I guarantee she did.

I saw Rodney Carrington last night. That is the second time I've seen him. He is hilarious.

Aerial is coming home in 2 hours!!! I can't wait. I've missed her. I'm going to take her out to dinner and then to Wal-Mart since we need food. I don't think I've shopped really since she's been gone.

Hey everyone. I am home.

I love New Orleans. I wish I could live there. Well I love the area in which my friend lives. She lives in Algiers Point. It is so nice.

The cruise was a blast. Will post more later.

I think I have another cold. I have felt bad for the last two days.

OK everyone who is going to try to lose weight, what did we decide to do?

I refuse to weigh for a week. I have to lose the water weight from my cruise. I will weigh next week and post my weight. I am going to post if I exercise or not as well. If you guys do not want to post weight let me know and we will not do so. But I do believe we have to find some way to be accountible. Any ideas?

I did walk today. So I guess I have started ok.
