Oh Selena, they are soooo cute. I want the black one! Ted would kill me though. I have never witnessed an animal birth either. How special! And yes, Stacey moved yesterday. It wasn't a good day that is for sure!

Lulu, :cool1: :woohoo: great tags! Mine are boring!

Anybody have a good idea on how to clean those white "plastic" patio chairs? Mine are getting so grungy and we use them camping. I don't want to throw them out and get new because these are heavy duty and they don't make them like that anymore.

I know the move was hard. :(

Last time my brother power washed the deck, we power washed the chairs, too - but someone needs to hold it. I blew one chair down the driveway and across the street before I figured that out!

Hi everyone. I am sorry I have not checked in lately.

My dad is doing well. He was released from the hospital on Thursday. I took Wednesday and Thursday off to be with him. Since they had to shock his heart after all he had to be watched for 24 hours and since they let him out of the hospital before the 24 hours I took care of him.

He was so ready to leave the hospital. His back is killing him though. I had to stop and buy him some pain reliever, then we had lunch and came back to my house. He was able to take a nap for 2 hours. He had not slept well in the hospital. .

I am so glad that he is doing so well -- I know he was ready to leave the hospital but, EEKK!
I am glad that you were able to be there with him!

Stephanie how is your nephew? I hope he is doing well..

He is doing extrodinarily well! He is getting around with a cane now. He still has to sleep either upright with his back against the headboard or flat with his legs proped up a bit. A few days ago he told me that he woke up in extreme pain and had to yell at his wife to wake up and turn him over -- he had rolled onto his side in his sleep and then couldn't move his legs or body to get back on his back. He told me that freaked him out a bit. ;)
He went back to work -- very light duty. I think he basically is just driving the truck for them. ;)

We have kittens. The cat my son got last year kind of got out when she came into heat and today she had 4 kittens. They are so cute. Erik was able to experience kitten birth. lol He did better than I did.

We are not going to keep them but we did name the little darlings. We have a solid black one his/her name is Harley.
Two striped ones they are Fat Girl and Sturgis. Then a gray one named Charlie. lol The kids had fun with it all today.

I'm not sure I owuld want to experice kitten birth! LOL! I'm glad y'all are having fun with them! :)

I am breezing on and off the DIS getting my lessons, vocab, writing assignments, etc. together for school tomorrow (if it's not washed away - we've had pouring rain ALL day, all I hear is splashing and fire trucks one after another!)

I did get tagged today, so that definitely brightened my day!
:)

I am sooo jealous!!!
I guess I will never be funny enough to be tagged! :rotfl:

Awwwww they are adorable!!!! I want the tabby!

Selena - glad your dad is doing better. The kittens are so adorable.

Marcie - How are you doing? I was going to call you this weekend, but emotionally I could not even talk. I was crying pretty much the entire weekend....Friday through Sunday...and today :) I will call you when I get stronger.

Stephanie - glad your nephew is doing good to. What a scary experience for him when he rolled over on his side.

LuLu - Congrats on your tag!!!!

Jrsy - Aren't you glad that Thursday was my early day to leave...I could have gotten a lot worse!!!

Cristi - how did Brad's interview go?

Well our weekend sucked. I don't ever want to experience that ever again. It was horrible to think that the next time I get to see them is in 3 weeks, when it usually is 2 times a week. I was an emotional wreck and not very strong. I want to kill my sister's mother in law, or maybe just rip her hair out. Can you tell I have a strong dislike for her and have for quite a while even before they were married. Chris doesn't understand and did not support me one bit....not even a hug or kiss like I asked for when I was sobbing.

My best friend did take me out yesterday to keep me busy. We went to the zoo with her son and then dropped him off with her mom for a nap while we went cruising in her brand new jeep and found a cool bar that will probably end up our summer bar!!!! She got the new 4 door Wrangler and since it was such a nice day yesterday we were going to attempt to take the Jeeps top off. It took us about 2 hours to figure how to take it off and another hour to get it back on. But when it was off it was so worth it!!!!! Her and I are supose to go to the Rockies game tonight, but if it is going to rain we probably won't go.

I am in training all week this week and next week so you won't hear from me much.

Well, I made it all weekend without the internet. I should have it today. (I am at work now) We should be off hopefully by noon and not have to come back to work until Wed. I have worked my butt off and got a LOT done. I still have 2 challenges LOL. Where to put blankets and where to iron clothes. I think I will buy an over the door iron board today and try it on my bedroom door. Once I finish, I'm going to have to help Aerial with her room, her's isn't going as fast as the rest of the house. Of course, she's been helping me half the time. Anyway, after all the putting up is done, the fun stuff starts. I am going to redecorate. I have to buy new curtains and a comforter and that sorta thing. Today, I am going to pick up my kitty Mitsi, that's probably the last time I see Dane for a while. Anyway, I feel so peaceful today.

Heidi & Sandy  I'm sorry you had such a rough weekend. Hang in there. And, you are welcome to call me anytime. I have to change the message on my answering machine.

Selena, I hope your Dad continues to get better.

Cristi, Good luck on the job interview!!!!!

Thank you everyone for all your support.

Jrsy you go and take Dane out for us, ok? We would cheer you on as you beat the crap out of the jerk.
Well, you guys all know that I am a lover, not a fighter...but I'd make an exception in this case.

I did get tagged today, so that definitely brightened my day!
I'm glad to see the Tag Fairies are still around. No one I know has been tagged in quite a while.

Anybody have a good idea on how to clean those white "plastic" patio chairs? Mine are getting so grungy and we use them camping. I don't want to throw them out and get new because these are heavy duty and they don't make them like that anymore.
I always just use 409 on them.

Jrsy - Aren't you glad that Thursday was my early day to leave...I could have gotten a lot worse!!!
I know exactly how bad you could have gotten; I have been lurking in your subconscious lately instead of your shrubbery. I'm really getting this stalking down to a science. Just don't call Chris "Jrsy" at an inopportune moment.

Which bar?

It must feel good to have your counter finally expended in your siggie. Now you have more time to focus on your and Aerial's needs.

Lulu, Selena - are you surviving the weather? I've heard that NJ is getting it especially bad. How is is further south?

Jrsy - my new bar is called Las Margaritas up at Belmar in Lakewood. It is a lot of fun and has a lot of outside seating. Yesterday the music was pretty good!!

Heidi, Jrsy and Cristi, maybe we could meet up at Heidi's new bar next time. The only problem is the kids though. :confused3 Would you rather meet up with the kids at a family location?

I have heard about the nasty noreaster too.

My chairs....I tried 409 before, I tried bleach before, I tried something just for the furniture. I think I have to accept it  and get new ones.

Marcie, :cool1: sounds like you have some fun shopping to do. I wish we could go together. I love to spend other peoples money!:rolleyes1

Stephanie, I felt the same as you about getting tagged. I never thought I was funny enough or creative enough.

Lulu, your post made me laugh. :rotfl2: I could just see you running after your chairs down the street. :rotfl:

Oh and Stephanie, I forgot to add something about your nephew. Bless his heart, he has a long haul ahead of him doesn't he? I hated to read about him.

That'd be a bit of a haul for all of us. I was thinking someplace like Dewey's at Federal and Belleview for our next outing, kids included.

A quick Google search brought this up:

Materials for cleaning white plastic furniture:

1 gallon warm water
3 Tsp. automatic dishwashing detergent
Sponge with scrubber on back
Bucket

Place 1 gallon warm water in a bucket and add 3 teaspoons of automatic dishwasher detergent .

Wash down the furniture with this solution.

Let the solution set on the furniture for approximately 15 minutes. (The dishwashing detergent has a bleaching agent in it that will whiten the furniture.)

Rinse and dry.

Also read that Orange Oil is supposed to work well. Try those before you give up.

Hey thanks Jrsy. Oh and Dewey's sounds GREAT!! I have never been been there. It has had so many different names since we have lived here for 31 years. Heidi used to go with her grandparents when it was called something else.

Have you tried fiberglass cleaner? Like the kind for bathtubs/showers?

Stephanie - glad your nephew is doing good to. What a scary experience for him when he rolled over on his side.

When he was telling me about it I felt a little...ill.....:sad1: He has such a good attitude!!
He told me it felt like it took forever for his wife to figure out what he was talking about!

If you have a Dollar Tree near by they sale something called Patio Cleaner. It comes in a bottle like windex and it is a clearish yellowish color. It works great and will not harm the grass, flowers or animals. I keep a bottle at my house at all times.

Lulu, Selena - are you surviving the weather? I've heard that NJ is getting it especially bad. How is is further south?

Jrsy the weather here has been nuts. It rained and rained. We got hail and we had tornado warnings. It was bad. Wind is awful. Since the grund is so wet we have had problems in the city I live in with the wind taking the tress out of the ground by their roots. I mean big huge trees too! Nasty stuff.

Stephanie I am glad you nephew is improving. It does sound like he has a long ways to go. Poor fella. I am sure waking up like that was very scary.

Marcie I am proud of you. You are doing so well. Keep your chin up and remember you are wonderful and he is a JERK with a captial A. lol Yes that is not the first letter of jerk but I think you understand the word I meant.

OK birth of kittens. I have witnessed this once before as a child. It is somewhat neat. You need a strong stomach because it is bloody and gross. But over all it is a really neat experience. They are so little and sweet. As you know they have closed eyes until 7-10 days. Needless to say they are wet and the mother has to clean everything up. Will not define everything, very gross. But they are sweet to witness the miracle of them. It is interesting to watch them meowing and crawling to find their mother and figure out how to eat. Very amazing.

As they get older I will post more pictures.

Thanks to each of you for asking about my Daddy. He is not going to get better as far as his heart damage. We all have to accept this and appreciate what he is able to do.

OK I am going to go walk out some aggravation from work. I can not wait until mid June!! lol
