Cranberry or Pineapple?? Part 2

I just have to package my ornament up and ship it off, probably do it tomorrow or Friday.

Is anyone going to brave the crowds Friday? I only go if there is something specific that I am looking for. I'm really thinking about doing some shopping online Friday morning.

I don't have to do much for Thanksgiving. My MIL is so excited because last year they didn't have a house due to the hurricane and the year before they were just moving into their house, so she's pretty much doing it all. She just requested I make my tortilla rolls.

I can't wait to be off of work for 4 days. :goodvibes

Marcie - yes I will be out with the crazy people on Friday!!! I live for BF and I love fighting the crowds. This year I will have to go to Walmart because I want to get two of the Idogs that will be on sale for $10!!! I am sure we will also hit Best Buy, Sears, and Target. Last year I didn't get to go because I was with my family up at the cabin, but this year...Watch out!!!!

Selena, the mailing deadline for us is set for Nov 27th. I, too, have mine. Just have to mail it. I even have the box.

Marcie, I wish you were coming here. I love tortilla rolls!

Oh and yes, I will be out for BF. Heidi is dragging me out. Nah, I like going. I was out doing errands today and glanced over at Best Buy and they have one of those port a potties. Expecting a big crowd but NO parking to speak of. Could be a disaster to those going!

Oh man I have memories of Best Buy on BF about 3 years ago. We had to park behind it in a different parking lot. There was no place to park and the line was to the back of the store. My Mom was wanting to stand in the line just to get a good deal on a package of CDRom's. My DH told her he would buy her a pack we were leaving. :rotfl: Found out later my Dad stood in The Best Buy line to buy a DVD. :rotfl2:

Now, if I see a computer for a price I can't pass up I might go, but not for something small. BTW I restored my computer and it seems to be doing okay.

My Result was the South. Pretty accurate I would say. :rotfl:
My result was Midland. Can't wait to see what my mom's is!!! I know she said that "bag" sounds the same as "vague"!! Most of my answers were that they sound the same. It will be interesting to see what Cristi and Jrsy falls under since we all live in the same state.

You'll have to wait until this weekend for me. For some reason, the censorware in my office has blocked this site. I guess it is a bigger threat to productivity than the DIS.

I have to work on Friday so I won't be doing any shopping. Even if I was off I don't think I would be doing any. It is way too insane for me. :scared: Last year I did go to Best Buy for a laptop. I waited in line for 4 hours for it! I did get it though and I love it. DH sometimes will say something about "our" laptop and I have to remind him it is mine since I spent so long waiting for it while he was busy sleeping. :)

Most of my answers were that they sound different.

Well, it turns out something is completely screwy with either my computer or (this is what I'm assuming) our computer system at work. Couldn't get to my Yahoo! or MSN email for a while and, now that I can, this site isn't being blocked anymore. In any case:

I am Inland North - basically tied between The Northeast and Philadelphia. However, the explanation mentions stepping away from the Great Lakes and calling carbonated drinks "pop" which doesn't seem to tie in with that. So I would say my results are very accurate until they try to explain them.

I use to call the carbonated beverage pop, until my friend made fun of me enough and now I call it soda or pop or coke!!!

Ok smarty britches Heidi. I came back inland North. Different than all of you. And yes, bag sounds like vague. It came back saying that more than likely I call carbonated beverages POP. Yep, that's me!! :thumbsup2 :rotfl2:

I bet Jrsy comes back really different than all of us.

I just cross posted with Jrsy. I cannot believe him and I came back the same. So Dak lingo and NJ is completely different. I sure found that out on my PC cruise.

Okay, my whole family is from Louisianna but I grew up in Texas. Our accents are totally different. They say Pop and I've always said Coke or Soda. Every summer when I visited I got teased. :rotfl:

Midland was my second highest and my explanation says.....That's a Southern accent you've got there....you may love it, you may hate it, you may swear you don't have it, but whatever the case we can hear it. :rotfl: That is sooo funny, I have this friend in PA who calls me Southern belle because of my accent.

Selena, I couldn't believe all that food that you got for breakfast. That is my favorite meal. I hope you didn't waste anything. lol. Then the phone calls from the kids. I have to admit that I was laughing. Tattling over the phone. Again, lol. I can't believe you eat sushi. YUCKY!! I was surprised to read that Johnny Rockets is on the ship. Is it the same as the chain?

Yes it is the same as the chain and the food was really good. The best hamburger I had on the ship. Oh it was the only hamburger I ate on the ship. lol They have awesome onion rings too.

Remember we got someone elses food along with ours. Jeff and I only ordered fruit and coffee but came up with all the other stuff from the mistake.
