Has anyone bought Blizzard Beach tickets from a listing on Craigslist in Orlando? Was it legit? I'm having a hard time swallowing $200 entrance fee for the 4 of us when we live close to Wisconsin Dells. But it is on our list of must do's. Just looking to do it in a budget form.

Personally I wouldn't buy any Disney tickets on Craigslist. Too much risk, since you can't tell if they are used or not. Only tickets I buy on CL are hard-copy event tickets (ie concerts, etc).

Is it not an option to at WP and more to your park tickets?

Or maybe buy a 10-day NE pass with WP+more and use that for your Blizzard Beach entry and use the major park days for a different trip?

1. How much are they charging per ticket?

2. If you go to the locked sticky Everything About WDW Tickets in this Forum, especially Post #20, you can get a lot more information. An easy way to get to the sticky is by clicking on the link in my signature. The ticket sticky is your friend!.

I was gonna ask the same thing. Can't you add WP&M to your tickets for $50/ticket or something like that?

If you buy off CL and they aren't valid, you will be out the $$$ and still not get to go to the water parks.

Not to mention that you would get mulitple entries with the WP&M

OP is the cost of saving a few dollars worth the risk of loosing $200

I would only buy off CL if it was an incredible deal and if the seller would be willing to meet you at the BB entrance so you could verify with one of the ticket offices there that the tickets are legit. That request alone will weed out most scammers, if not all of them.

Current non-discounted Disney prices for single day water park tickets are $49 Adult, $41 child. You would need 3 Adult, 1 Child = $188 + 6.5% tax = Total 200.22.

You didn't say what the CL tickets would cost. But as others have posted, there is no way to know if the CL tickets were already used, therefore worthless. CL does not enjoy a good reputation as a source for legitimate WDW tickets.

For $55+tax per ticket, you could add water parks/DisneyQuest to your regular park tickets, and you would receive as many entries as there are days on your park tickets. In other words, you would have multiple visits, plus the opportunity to play at DisneyQuest.

That's the safe bet.

OP here. I thought that it was $50 per day to for WWM. We do not have that much time to go to more than one water park and we are not doing Disney Quest. I found tickets for $25 and DH thinks that's the way to go. I'm the cynic and said no. So this proves I'm right!!

First of all, if you go to the Blizzard Beach page it says this:
"Single day tickets are available for purchase at the water park main entrance or at your Resort hotel."

Why would a Florida resident go all the way down to Disney, and buy tickets they never planned on using?

The only way I can see the possibility of the tickets being legit is if they won them somewhere. However, since they live in Florida, it would be more likely that they could find someone they actually know to take the tickets off their hands.

It just doesn't make any sense to me.

it could be a cast member selling their extra tickets. i use to be a cast member and sold my extra tix on craigslist all the time. then i would just meet the people at the gate. now i buy my tix off craigslist when i go back to disney. its only safe if you agree to meet the person outside the gate. never send money for tix. i get park hoppers for $50 and water park tix for $20 off craigslist. always meet at the park.

A Disney CM selling their comp tickets on Craigslist would be subject to termination. I'm surprised the pp didn't get caught when showing up at the ticket booth. OP...don't do it!
