Cracker Jack Stadium Transportation Question

I plan to visit Cracker Jack Stadium for a spring training baseball game at 1:05 pm on Saturday, March 15, and I also have a ticket for Cirque du Soleil’s 6:00 pm performance on the same day. I will not have a car, but will be using WDW transportation.

My questions are: How would you advise me to get from the stadium after the game, to Disney Downtown, West Side, to be on time for the show? Are the buses frequent enough to do the job, or would a taxi be better? And, if a taxi is the answer, are they always on hand outside the stadium? (This will be my first time to see the sports complex. Never been near it, and have no idea how things are positioned outside the stadium - taxi stand, bus stop, etc.)

Thanks.

i think the 15th is a weds actually.....at least i hope so since i'm coming home that day....there has been a taxi out front each time i've gone...not sure if it was called or not...the busses ran frequently when we went and i think dtd is pretty close to there...the game should be over by 4-4:30 i'd think....

Are you attending the Passholder event on 3-11? If so, have your tickets arrived yet?

Sorry, I cant help with the transportation issues.

Yes, you are correct, I did put the wrong date on my post above. The game I'm going to on Saturday is March 18, not 15. I'm usually very careful about dates. Sorry.

But thanks for the reply.

To answer another post, no I did not order a package ticket deal, just individual games, like the Reds Braves on the 18th. And, yes, I have received my tickets in the mail.

Thanks.

I would think a taxi is your only option

The only bus service to WWOS is from MGM. So you would go back to MGM. Then have to take a bus to a resort close to DTD (e.g. POR). Then take a bus to DTD.

Even though the performance starts at 6PM, they want you in your seats by 5:30.

It would be cutting it way to close. Your odds would be no better than 50-50 to make it on time.
