I am in the planning stage of our next trip. My daughter eats steak pretty much the whole time and gets a little tired of it by the end. I am trying to work in some fried chicken (I have a couple of places down for that). Where we go for chicken depends on how many dining credits we have used. Anyway, she loves crab legs. From what I understand, Cape May doesn't have crab legs anymore. I could be wrong. I think Captain's Grille has them. As does Fulton's. Any advice on where to get them? I would love to try The Boathouse, when we go, but I don't think they have crab legs. She does like lobster, too. She has expensive taste in food.:rotfl:

Cape May still has crab legs. That was a rumor a while ago that they were taking them off, but every recent account says they are still on the buffet every night.

FULTONS CRAB HOUSE - downtown Disney :). Notice the word "crab" in the title? :).

Seriously - it's a great restaurant with REALLY GOOD crab (several varieties). The King Crab Legs are great :).

I knew Fulton's had them I didn't know if they were good. I've heard so many reviews. That's all a matter of opinion anyway. Very happy to see someone say that they are really good. Makes my decision easier.

Thank you.

I love the buffet at Cape May. Awesome crab legs. My family goes there mostly just for them! :thumbsup2

The Crab legs at Captain's Grille are AWESOME!!! A year ago, I had never eaten there, now I have been there 3 times, all excellent! Don't know how this gem had escaped us before, now it is a favorite. The steaks are terrific as well!

Yikes! Monkey wrench now. Actually I am happy to hear this. I would rather use one credit as opposed to 2. Decisions decisions now.

That was the winner for us as well. DS (25y) couldn't believe it was only 1 credit. The Décor is plainer than some, but a great meal every time. We had 8 people on one trip, and they couldn't have been nicer. Steaks were always cooked perfectly, and the crab legs were piled high!

Decor doesn't matter to us. It's all about the food.:o

Ahh I can't remember the name of the place I went 5 years ago...

It was at a Disney resort.... I want to say at the Yacht Club? Yes it was the Yachtman's Steakhouse. Good as always!

And as i type this i did research and they're gone!! Ugh :(

Now I WILL mention something about Fultons....

We love the crab legs. We actually love everything they have :). But they DO tend to engage in a practice that is becoming common among Restaurants that serve SHELLFISH.

SHELLFISH is, for the most part, wild game. As a consequence, it's EXPENSIVE. Restaurants with many shellfish offerings, including Fulton's, have a bad tendency to try to avoid "sticker shock" - by reducing portions.

When you see you will get 1 pound of shellfish? Remember - that's with the SHELL on :). For example - a 1 pound Lobster is pathetic, once you get that shell off :). I often use a gross 35% metric.... 1 pound? 6 Oz of meat. Is this a disaster? Not really - it's the nature of shellfish :).

FORTUNATELY - Fultons will offer stuff on the menu, and will let you ADJUST it :). Example - we often get the King Crab Plate, and have them throw in a cold water Lobster tail. It sounds like we weigh a lot.... we don't :). I'm 152 pounds :). So here is what happens - both my wife and I get a really GOOD portion of shellfish - and, as physics dictates? We PAY for it. A good solid shellfish dinner can easily run $150 a head.... and that's reality with wild game :). Not so much the restaurant.... all of this would also happen in San Francisco these days :(.

Lots of places doing this, even outside of Disney

I live by the Great Lakes and am a lover of Lake Perch. Past 5 years, prices have rose 10-15% and portions decreased about 20%.

I remember a HUGE meal of lake perch was $24.99, now a 'hm i guess I'm full portion thanks to side dishes' is $27.00

I concur!

Very good place not many people talk about or go to it seems

I have a reservation for Fulton's in December for crab legs but may have to rethink this and go with Captain's Grill. Thanks for the reviews!

Captain's Grille and Cape May Cafe serve snow crab legs, not king crab legs, and Disney's snow crab legs aren't worth the $$$, in our opinion.

It's true, the Crab Legs at Captain's Grille are Snow Crab legs, but they are piled high, cooked perfectly, have great flavor, and are served with Corn on the cob, and delicious roasted red potatoes.
