Has anyone found today's answer? I have looked around for about 15 minutes and I can't find an answer. :confused3

I haven't found anything either. I've read lots of articles on how men spend less time doing household chores than women, but can't find a pecentage time spent doing laundry. Arg!

A study shows doing laundry (washing clothes) takes up what percentage of your time?

10
25
30
45

I quessed 25 and was wrong. I tried to figure out what my percentage was based on my week and I was just a little over 25%, so good luck!

Lori

Yes, 30% is what is giving the correct answer on the site, but that is ridiculous! Unless I'm misunderstanding the question, 30% of a 24 hour day is 7.2 hours of laundry EVERY day??? I don't see how that is possible?!? Am I reading this wrong?

thanks for the answer and for trying to guess. I was just gonna pick a number when I got home and tell everyone whether it was right or wrong. Thanks for all your help. That was a tough one.

okay I don't know whats going on with my account. I just logged on for the first time today. The last time I was on was this time yesterday. I just tried to answer the trivia question with the 30% answer.... it responded back that my IPS address has already answered this and can't not be credited. But this was the first time I tried to. I wrote to support cuz this is the second time this week this has done this. Has anyone else had this problem?

I'm not sure I follow that either, bartleby1. I averaged mine over the week and came up with 25% of my time, but I thought I was being generous. Perhaps they are looking at the total time, from collecting it, washing, drying, iorning (for those that do), and putting it away.

But if you spent 7 hours a day doing laundry, 8 hours sleeping and working, 1.5 hours for food consumption and we are already over. Maybe that's why there's not enough time in the day -- too much laundry!

Lori

I was wondering if they meant 30% of your total cleaning (dishes, mopping, etc.) time?
