CR Wishes viewing

Hi all,
We are going to eat at Chef Mickey's our first evening in. We won't use park tix so we would like to watch wishes from a viewing area with piped in music. I think the CR would be best but I have read conflicting reports about this. Where is the platform located exactly? If we are not guests of the resort will we have a problem? Also, I assume with a PS# we won't have a problem parking.

Should have no problem with a PS at Chef Mickey's.
