I am planning on another trip to WDW in 2004. Last time I went was in 1999 and stayed at what was then Dixie Landings. Want to bring the kids to CR this time. Was wondering which was better. The wings or staying in a tower room? Kids are 13 & 14.

We stayed at the CR this past March in garden wing because of the great SOG rate(military) we received. While I enjoyed my stay there, I would've LOVED to have been in the Tower! The tower is so convient and the views are really wonderful, on both sides of the building. On the MK side you can view the fireworks at night and on the lakeside you get the water parade, you really can't go wrong! Plus you're only an elevator ride away from the monrail, restaurants and shops, it's a great location.

Have fun planning! :)

We stayed in the tower in April on the MK side. What a view!! Just a note that you can also see the electric light parade from the MK side so I would pick that side for the view of Mk, fireworks and EL parade. Also go as high up as you can. We were on 11th floor. Have a great time.:jester:

Thank you for your replies. I just saw another post asking this same question and there were some great responses on it too. I guess I should have read the other posts before writing my own. Quite a few people have stated go for the tower room. I think I'll be leaning more towards that. We were only going to stay about three nights before taking a Disney Cruise.
