We are going for a quick trip in October and are currently awaiting codes. My first plan is for Coronado Springs if codes are available for CSR -- make it a quick trip on a reasonable budget. But, I know that codes aren't available for CSR sometimes. If that happens and we have to pay higher rates for what we want anyway, I was playing with the possibility of trying out either Contemporary Tower or Grand Floridian -- just a normal room, not concierge or anything. I will be traveling with my husband, who needs his coffee pot and his high speed computer access to thrive, and my son -- age 9 -- who likes to try new things (hence our choices, we haven't tried CSR, CR, or GF yet). He also likes to swim, so we will be using the pool some. We will be hitting AK one day, Typhoon Lagoon one day, and MK probably twice -- including MNSSHP. So, am I being silly thinking about trying out CR Tower or GF? Which one would you choose? Is GF worth it if you're not staying in concierge? Or would we be happier over at CR where we might get a tower room facing MK and be able to watch the fireworks every night of our vacation?
