It appears they have a 4 night minimum. Is this right?
Has anyone had any luck getting around that by calling to book a last minute AP discounted room?

No, I don't believe that they do have a standard minimum stay requirement for a TPV room at the CR.

If some rooms are 'sold out' for certain nights, or heavily booked, it is sometimes possible to book for a longer stay including those nights, however.

You could try calling to see what they might be able to do for you at CRO.

Another option could be a TPV room at the Poly or GF.

No set 4 night minimum, although Disney's 'availability' will generally be more favorable for longer stays vs. shorter, generally speaking. The system is geared a bit against booking short stays. But, that's not always the case, it just depends.

I suspect what you're seeing online is going to be the same as when you call, but never hurts. Good luck.

It's definitely not a 4 night minimum because DW and I stayed CR TPV for three nights last June/July. She booked it by calling reservations in February or March.

Yes, they should be able to do that for you. If someone can't call back and talk to someone else.

You have to watch to make sure any discount you have isn't impacted when you cancel nights. Canceling nights could very well impact that part of your reservation.

This used to be easy, but there have been times when people were not able to shorten their stay. I had a problem with flight changes once (last year, I think) and CRO had to get guest services involved, make a request and call me back later - all to see if I could get one day removed due to a cancelled flight. They did make it happen in the end, but it wasn't a simple matter like it once was.

When/if you call to cancel, just follow the math and make sure to ask/confirm that your AP rate is still in place for your new reservation. Just in case.
