CR Shop Hours?

Does anyone know what time the shops close at the CR?

We are taking a short trip (12/8 - 12/12) and won't be arriving at CR till about 8:30pm.

We have a 9:50 ressie at Cali Grill but wonder if we should eat light and shop around instead.

We have also thought about hopping on the monorail to Epcot because it's such a beautiful ride at night during Christmas season!! We could walk thru, catch Illum. and head over to the BW and eat there!! Any idea what a taxi ride back to CR would be??

We're torn between making the most of our first night and just staying put and soaking up the CR atmoshere since it is our first time staying there.

Soooo, back to my original question!! How late do the stores at the CR stay open?

That's pretty late!! Maybe we should just stay at "home" the first night!

Maybe some shopping around and then room service!!
