CR Questions....

We are staying at the CR in 29 days. We have been there the last 2 years and was wondering if anyone has been there within the last month.

Is the lobby remodel complete?

Is Contemporary Grounds reopened or moved somewhere? We gotta have our coffee

Is the food and fun center closed or is it relocated yet?

I have seen pictures of a new gift shop in the middle of the 4th floor concourse. Is the old gift shop closed?

Thanks for any replies. We just like to know what to expect when we get there. Thanks again

[CR Resort Fan 4 Life]

Expect for the area where they temporally had the lobby Concierge desk, all other parts of the lobby have been finished. Now since I last visited the Contemporary which was 2 weeks ago, that area might be completed so maybe someone else will post that.

The Contemporary Grounds was moved towards the doors in lobby which lead to the convention center.

The Food & Fun Center is closed and right now there is the Tempo Grab & Go location on the 4th floor. Their brand new location which is to be called Chef Mickey's Express is scheduled to open on August 14, 2008.

The old gift store which was called Fantasia is closed and right now the new store is open, along with the Bay View Gifts store and the Concourse Sundries & Spirits store.
