CR Garden vs. Tower

Would the CR be worth staying at if we had to stay in a garden wing instead of the tower?

Also, which wing would be better?

Absolutely! The Garden wing room are almost identical to the tower rooms in decor and size. The rooms are large - 2 queens and a daybed (twin). The CR has the best location for the MK. You can take a boat, bus, walk or ride the monorail.

To get to Epcot you can ride the monorail or take a bus. MGM and AKL are by bus. You can watch the Electric Water Parade at night, and see the MK fireworks. The pool is large with a water slide and hot tub. There is an adult pool and a dock area complete with fish/duck feeding stations. The shopping area is great. There is a coffee bar, food court, Chef Mickeys (fabulous), Concourse Steakhouse, California Grill, and Pool bar.

The tower is great - looking down on the concourse and the view of MK or the Seven Seas lagoon is hard to beat, but the Garden Wings (I prefer the North Gard Wing) are very nice too. The location is the best.

We loved our stay in the Garden wing. It was very quiet. We stayed on the MK side and could see the fireworks from our window.

Nothing like watching FW's in your jammies!!

Plus, the bus stop is on that end. It was abt a 3 minute walk from our room.

The only drawback, is GW rooms don't have balconies. You have a big window you can open, but no balconies.

We will be in the NGW next month and are really looking forward to it!

Considering that only 3 hotels are on the Monorail and that the CR is a Deluxe, I think the wings are a great location! I have heard the Tower Views are beautiful also but the wing rooms have some pretty nice views also (just not as high up) and the ground floor rooms have patio's.

If I had to choose between the AS, the Mods and the Wings, I would take the wings any day! If I had a tower budget, I'd probably stay at the GF or Poly.
