Just wondering if all the Bay Lake facing rooms are "loud" when the EWP goes by. I can't remember at WL but I am thinking we could hear them from our woodsview balcony, but not really inside the room. How is the noise level in the waterview rooms of CR? I imagine a night or 2 the kids(and us!) will be asleep as it passes at 10 ;) !
Just trying to get my fax in order and thought of this!:D

It's been awhile since I stayed there but I remember being able to slightly hear the music when my balcony door was shut. I don't think it will be loud enough to wake you unless you are a very light sleeper. :D

We never had any problem with it, and we were in the rooms a couple of times (one room was very near the lake).

We stayed at the Poly in the Tahiti longhouse, ground floor lagoon view. We could hear the EWP music in our room when the door was closed, but it wasn't loud enough to disturb us. Being from a different time zone, we (well, at least dd) were often in bed when the EWP started. It never woke up dd, but I always heard it. We could also hear the fireworks going off. Neither sound was loud enough to *bother* us, but just enough for us to know to go out on the patio to watch.

Don't worry, if your asleep when the EWP is passing, the music is so low it won't wake you up. But, when your on your balcony watching it you hear is just fine. Its a great view from the balcony and you can also see it when your on the roof after the MK fireworks go off.

It stops in the lagoon right in front of the CR. Its only there for maybe 5 min. then its off to the next resort.

I remember how loud it was on the beaches of WL:p ! I think we will see it our first night as MK will have fireworks that night also. Then we won't have to worry about it the rest of the week ;) !
I do take and use earplugs just in case.
I did forget to mention we will be in the NGW, closer to the lake I suppose. Where exactly does it stop near CR??
Thanks again!:D

We just stayed at the CR, NGW in March! Most nights we stayed awake to watch the parade but 1 night I passed out early with my 2 year old and the parade did wake me up when it was going on, I thought it was pretty loud in our room. Our room was right by the lake facing the playground. If your concerned about the noise ask for a room that's close to the Tower facing towards the MK and away from the lake, these are also the most convient rooms and you can see fireworks! ;) You shouldn't have any problems with the parade noise over on that side plus it's a great location. Also try to get the 3rd floor, it was very quiet up there because you didn't get any noise from above.

If you still want the waterview I'd request a room that's on the far left (if your facing the lake) because the parade stops right in front of the tower area , in front of the boat dock area.

Have a great trip!!!

Thanks, that info helps:D . I do have 3rd floor in the fax but will add which side! We have been to CR many times, even walked through NGW last year but never stayed there! Can't wait:cool: !Another quick question. Are there elevators or stairs at the ends of the halls? I don't remember looking for this!
