CP without the package?

If I wanted to do the first show of the CP, on a Saturday in early December, without the package, what time would you suggest I get in line?

2 hours before the show as opposed to 30 min. with the pacakge.

I was surprised last year we got in on the first Saturday night about 45 minutes before, we were one of the last to get seated. I think it was the last show.

It depends also on how many are in your party. I go in early December solo. Two years ago when I went, I didn't stand in line at all. I just looked for a seat and got a pretty decent one. If you're going to have 3 or 4 people, I don't think that would work though.

There will be 2 of us. I have seen it before with the Package, but my Mom has never seen it. We aren't interested in eating at any of those restaurants on this quick trip because we have our favorites all picked out. Hmmm, what to do???
