As much as I love Disney, it seems like such a waste for me to spend 7 months in Orlando and do nothing else. I love SeaWorld and I want to get a season pass or something so that I can go as much as I want. They offer one pass that is good until December 31st for only $75 with is a pretty good deal. It would be nice if we could get a group of people or something together that want to go every now and then so that we would have someone to go with and pair up with people who have cars. I was thinking that is we had a group that was interested and bought passes together or the first time we go, we could just find maybe one or two people in the group who have the same day off that week and want to go.

They also have annual passes that are good for an entire year for $99 if you are thinking about maybe extending, even if you don't, those passes get extra discounts in the park for only $25 more and they had add-on options for Busch Gardens and Aquatica. The Aguatica pass sounded like a good idea to me just because it is unlimited then and paying $20 everytime you go to a Disney waterpark will add up fast.

The best part about it is that they also have a monthly billing cycle so for the annual pass you would only pay $8 something each month with is definitely do-able. I'm not sure if the $75 dollar pass could be paid this way but it is something to look into.

I am not really a big Universal fan but the same thing could be done with that too.

OOOOHH! I AM SO IN!! My last CP I had a Sea World pass, and it was AWESOME. Im only there for the Summer Alumni, but I am so in. Totally worth it. And I love dolphins. I could watch the dolphins at Epcot all day, and getting to feed a dolphin at Sea World is totally better.

I havent been to seaworld since i was maybe 2. I'd be interested in going but i dont remember what its like at all. im sure its much different 21 years later.

I have never been to the Sea World in Orlando. I've been to the one in San Diego, but I heard that this one is bigger and better. I really want to go at least once while I'm there.

I also love Universal/IOA there so I will definitely be going there a few times lol

They will also be opening a new coaster in early May which is an added benefit. It is supposed to be one of the ones where you are laying so that you face the ground and it is supposed to somehow skim over the water as you go. Definitely sounds like it would be worth checking out.

Heck yes.

I'm planning on buying season/annual passes for both SeaWorld and Universal.

There goes my hopes of coming home ahead after the CP haha.

Wait! Stop, Hold UP!

Okay, now that I have everyone's attention:

I thought the same thing when I did my CP, and it is worth it. But, just a suggestion; I was able to buy discounted tickets to Sea World through Company D (store just for cast members - they're located at various places like DI and DHS). Anywho, after buying the discounted one day pass, while at Sea World, I was able to upgrade to an annual pass for only $10 more. So, not only did I get a discount on a one day pass, but for $10 more, I got to go for the rest of the season and not pay a dime. I don't know if they still offer this or not, but it is worth checking into before going and spending the $75-100 bucks with no discounts. I only payed about $50 total. Even if they do not still offer the cheaper discount right at the park, I'm sure they will still upgrade your ticket right then to an annual or seasonal pass, so it is worth it to wait and buy at Company D.

Working for Disney has many perks beyond the park. Don't be afraid to ask if they offer a discount to Disney employee's; you would be surprised (especially at the outlet mall). I know I asked everywhere I went, and it usually paid off. There was even a store where they did not offer the discount, but the guy gave me one anyway!! I was buying a Nautica coat marked down to $75, I got it for $30! Again, no discount, but he gave me one anyway just for asking!

There is a tour you can do that lets you go behind the scenes and pet a penguin. I don't think it was that expensive either.

I've actually done this tour. It's cheap. $11 per person. I did it in october and got to pet a rockhopper and see where the chinhook's were breeding.

It was an OK tour. Took about an hour, saw backstage at Wild Artic too.

Not alot of penguin time though. pretty much formed a line and got to pet it's back once or twice while a keeper held it.
