CP or CM for dinner?

Which do you prefer for dinner for the quality of food? I am considering adding one as I just found some ADRs available for our Spring Break.

Crystal Palace, we will be returning in May, It's always a must do.

A little story about CM. On our last trip to Disney in September. I had made all are ADR except for the last day. My Children and Grandchildren decided they wanted to end their vacation at Chef Mickey. I've done it quite a few times and while breakfast is OK, I dislike dinner. You guys go, your Father and I will grab something some where else. They returned that evening and said the place was dirty and the food aweful. Oh and by the way we charged it to you.

Crystal Palace! The food is much better The location is also beautiful (albeit noisy) [I do not think the CR is beautiful at all]. And while the CR is walking distance to MK, it is not IN MK, so unless you are staying at CR, I don't think CM is worth the trip.

I understand going to Chef Mickey if you really want to see the fab 5, but honestly, they were the easiest characters to spot in a park for us or at another dining location. Pooh, Tigger, Eeyore, Piglet...can't beat that!

We prefer CP for dinner. Much better food and atmosphere.

I would only do CM dinner for the characters.

Crystal Palace With that said, despite some negative reviews on CM (and you will get some bad press on any restaurant), if you really want to see the Fab Five rather than Pooh and Friends and your primary reason for the meal is the characters, then I would go with CM.

If the main reason is for the food and atmosphere, then CP is a winner in my books.

Crystal Palace. The food is much better, and the atmosphere is less rabid.

We are trying CP for dinner as I have read bad reviews about CM. However we really enjoy CM breakfast.
