would you do CP or CM for dinner? we are only planning 2 character meals...hopefully CRT for breakfast, then either CP or CM for dinner. we did both a couple of years ago and I seem to remember CM having better selection on their kids section? has anybody been recently? what foods have been there?

we have gone to CP twice in the last 8 months and the selections were awesome.......on the kids part, there was chicken fingers, macaroni and cheese (that my husband loved), meatballs, little hot dogs, and then the big buffet, was mashed potatoes and meat that I think even the kids would like......the dessert bar was fantastic too..

We have done each for dinner in the past, and we prefer CM for dinner, but CP is better for breakfast. :woohoo:

CP is so much better for food, CM was horrible

I would vote for CP. We have been to both a few times and I feel that CM isn't the same as it used to be. The food was good but there was just something missing. The experience seemed flat to me which could be because I have been there 4 times or it could be that I no longer have little children. (My baby is 14 yrs old now) CP has maintained it's atmosphere and the food remains very, very good. I also think that because CP is in the park it adds to the magic.
When we left CM last year my thought/feeling was that was good, when I left CP my thought/feeling was that was great!

We enjoy them both for dinner in fact going back to both for dinner in August. I would make the choice based on the characters you want to see and if you want to stay in the park or get out for a break. Either way there are plenty for the kids as well as the adults to eat and enjoy.

Last year (July), CM was much better than CP for our dinner experiences. The year before, it was the reverse. We're doing only CM this year because my kids prefer Mickey and pals to the Pooh characters, but I really think either is fine, and both have good and off nights.

Ok, I'm a goofball and when I read the title I was horrified to see that you were contemplating eating a castmember for dinner! :rotfl: Then I realized my mistake.

If the characters don't matter to you I'd go with Crystal Palace. The food is what I'd probably consider 'normal' for any age group. I don't have any exact details because it's been awhile since I've gone. HTH! :)

Crystal Palace is a must do for our family every trip. It is such a gorgeous place and the food is excellent! My kids love it too! [The food....not just the characters!]

I actually was having this debate myself after calling and calling for a Chef Mickey's ressie. lol.

I chose Crystal Palace. Even though at first I was more excited about Chef Mickey's, I'm JUST as excited over Eeyore and Pooh. Since we will be going to the Magic Kingdom on a PPP night, Crystal Palace is right inside the MK. Plus, I've heard the food is much better!!
