CP Narrator Lou Diamonds Phillips arrested

I can't believe this. I was just watching "Extra" and saw that Lou Diamond Phillips was arrested for alleged domestic abuse. I was so excited about seeing him this December at the CP.

Just remember that it is alleged...it's not proven yet. Maybe it won't be that bad! I wonder though if he's found guilty, will WDW cut him from the CP program?

My wife and I were impressed with the job Mr. Phillips did with the Processinal this past year. Most enjoyable, and moving. I hope the charges end up not being a big deal, and that he returns again this season.

I was so happy that I knew my date and was looking forward to seeing him. I guess I will make my CPDP reservation when it comes available and hope for the best. I just hate not knowing for sure who will be there. If I choose another date I will have to rework my schedule. I guess I will just wait and see.

Oh dear. I just saw an updated Candelight narrator list that mentioned that Lou Diamond Phillips had been replaced with Brian Dennehy for the shows on December 18-20. I was really hoping to get to see Lou. I wonder if the arrest issue was the reason for the change. Anyone know anything about Brian Dennehy?

We saw the Candlelight Processional last year with Lou Diamond Phillips as the narrator. He and the choir did a great job.

I'll bet that was exactly the reason. It is only alleged, yet if he in fact has been truly abusing, then that would not be something that Disney would want to ignore.

We saw Brian Dennehy in 1999 and he did a fine job. Actually, it is the only CP "I" have been to. Last December dh and my girls saw the guy who played Jesus but I was in the room with my sick ds . You will still enjoy the show, but I am sorry to hear about Lou!!
