CP dinner package, 90 days out?

Shellybird, we will be at the same show! I booked on Monday for the 6:45 show on the 22nd. I am really hoping that Mr. Sinise will be there, dh really wants to see him. We are also eating at Biergarten, but after the show. I have 4 kids that hardly eat at all, and 3 of them are charged as adults, so I really wanted to keep the price down. Dh wanted Le Cellier, but I think we will just do lunch there another time. We are doing MVMCP on the 20th, and I have booked Hoop-de-doo for the 24th!! Getting excited

Have you eaten at the Biergarten before? I'm looking forward to it, although it will be early for us to eat -- better than being too hungry for me.

We will be there on the 22nd of December as well. We have a 4:10pm at LeCellier and then doing the 8:15pm CP show. I choose the later show so that we see the Christmas Tree Lighting at 6:00pm.
We are also going to the MVMCP on the 20th! So excited!
What other plans are you making to do that week? I was thinking about the Yuletide Fantasy Tour. Ever hear of it?

Shelly, I was raised in south Louisiana and Dh was raised in Jacksonville, Fl. We lived in Jax for many years, outside of D.C. for 2 years, and have been in Illinois for almost 6 years now. We left Jax due to Dh being out of work for 6 months, and while there are a lot more jobs in his field up here we miss the south real bad. Looks like he will be out of work again shortly, so he is applying all over right now. We would take Texas, Louisiana, Mississippi, Alabama, Florida (of course), and all the way up to Virginia. We are not picky! Right now he is one the phone with someone about a job in San Antonio. BUT, he has also been interviewing up here so we will see. Our families would love to have us at least come back closer......No, we have never eaten at Biergarten, but Dh is German and we love buffets! Our oldest is a size 2 vegetarian, our baby is 7 and eats like a bird, and even our 2 good eaters are often full after the appetizer, so we wanted to go a cheaply as possible. Have no idea what I will be wearing, but we are staying at VWL too so maybe we can all meet at the get-together! Dh really wanted to see Gary Sinise, but of course the kids have no idea who he is. They would love LeVar Burton, we still watch old Reading Rainbow tapes from the library!! Have a great day I am really getting excited about our trip as we are making plans, scheduling meals, and such!! Dh has family in Winter Park and we will spend Christmas Day with them, something we haven't been able to do since moving away....

We tried to get the CP dinner package for 12/7 at LeCellier and I called the morning of 8/15 but I was not successful. I was told that there was plenty of seating avaialble for the dinner package at LeCellier but not for tables of 2 so we took Biergarten. We like both resturants but LeCellier is my DH's favorite.

Meliechick, I have seen other posters say they could not get a table for 2 at Le Cellier. Do they have only a few and they went fast, or did they never have any for the CP dinner package? You have been to Biergarten before? How did you like it? How was the seating??

Laceemouse, I was told that there were very few 2 tops available (they went fast) for LeCellier but plenty of 4 tops and the computer won't let them put only 2 people at a 4 top table. We have been to Biergarten before and enjoyed it. For a buffet the food is good. At the table where we sat their were 3 other couples and everyone was very friendly. I could see where it would be akward if we sat with a family of 6 instead of couples. The show was neat and we look forward to eating there again.

So if there are 8 people to a table some poor soul will be stuck sitting with me and my gang?? Oh boy! Well, my kids are aged 8 to 14 so they are not too awful, they have a lot of experience eating in restaurants! Maybe they will seat us with some elderly couple who will enjoy us!!! Oh well, we look forward to it.......
