CP dining package

I was wondering how the CP dining package works logistically. I have a package lunch reserved at Via Napoli that is linked to the middle show (6:45 i think?).

Do they give us some kind of ticket or wrist band at the lunch?

Do we need to tell them or bring something with us to show at the restaurant about it being a CP package?

I have read on here that 45 minutes before show time is a good time to line up?

I haven't gone since 2007, but then it was just a sticker like those My Name is tags (in other words, big enough to stick on your shirt). I think the restaurants know by the confirmation number if it's a CP package or just a regular ADR. (The stickers are pre-printed with the time and date of the show.)

Just a caution: As the parks get busier for the holidays and/or the narrator is very popular, I'd get to the Dining Pkg. line earlier.

The most reliable of WDW truisms is, it's better to arrive far too early than to get there one minute too late.

I did the package last Saturday at Via Napoli. There's a separate line to check-in. Then after the meal you take your receipt back to that line and they give you the sticker with the show time on it.

I got in line for Whoopi Goldberg an hour before and Got a seat in the second section center.

Thanks so much for the info Debbie. This is the first time we will be there for the Christmas stuff so the more info I can find on some of these things the better.
