Hi! We've never been but I'm so excited to go this year! We've been to Epcot tons of times but never eaten at:

Rose & Crown
Tokyo Dining
Chefs de France
Garden Grill
Spice Road Table
Tutto
Via Napoli
Nine Dragons
Teppan Edo

Timing doesn't matter since we're moving to FL and will be driving there just for this.

Is there any difference between the first and second show?

Are any of these restaurants a better value moneywise?

I know I will get many different opinions but are any of these restaurants a must do?

Thanks!

Hi! I love EPCOT dining! I will speak to the restaurants I've tried:
Tokyo Dining: Awesome, awesome, awesome. Best sushi I've had in Disney, above California Grill. Super nice staff, gorgeous restaurant, good prices. But the restaurant was kept very COLD when I was there in June, if that matters.
Garden Grill: I find their lunch/dinner men boring but the breakfast is killer. It is a MUST DO for me every trip, especially pre-park opening. Excellent character interaction and food for everyone.
Spice Road Table: I really really wanted this to be good, but it wasn't. A terrible value and awful service. Food was meh.
Via Napoli: Beautiful, but I don't get the hype because it's just pizza, not that exciting to me. If you love pizza, go for it.
Teppan Edo: Please don't. Easily my most disappointing Disney meal ever. You can get much better hibachi elsewhere. Food was very bland and price wasn't worth it.
Have a great time!

Teppan Edo is a must do for our family. We eat there with the Candlelight Dining Package every trip. You will select an appetizer, entree, and non alcoholic drink and I believe you receive a salad as well. Your party is seated around a hibachi grill which seats usually eight so you will most likely be seated with others to fill the table if your party is smaller. Chef prepares all entrees fresh on the grill. Appetizers, salads, rice, drinks and desserts are served from the kitchen. We always enjoy our meal here. Food is fresh and delicious, service is excellent, and the atmosphere is fun.
As far as times of the Candlelight Processional show, each show follows the same script so the only difference between the first and second shows is that at the first show it will still be daylight and the second and third shows will be dark. We prefer to go after sunset to greater appreciate the lights and atmosphere. But it's completely a personal preference. Enjoy!

I first tried Chefs de France with a CP package and have been hooked ever since. I also really enjoyed my dinner the one time we ate at Tutto Italia. And I agree with the previous poster that breakfast at Garden Grill is great.

My best recommendation to you is review the menus for the restaurants you are most interested in. If you plan on going for lunch or dinner, make sure you choose a place that has both an appetizer AND a dessert you are interested in along with the entree in order to get the full value from your package. That was the hardest part for me - finding somewhere with both an app and a dessert. Some might consider me a picky eater :)
