hey i thought i would start a thread to get past participants opinion on what classes to take and what they thought of the classes.
maybe answer some generic questions too; like how much work do you have to put into the classes, are they like real college classes, info about professional development studies, etc...

i just want to get other peoples opinions for i have a better idea about what people get out of the classes.

my school doesn't offer credit for the program, but should i still take classes?

I'd like to know more about the classes, too.

I'd definitely still take at least one class, even if you're not getting credit. I did it (and luckily, I got credit for a couple of them), but I took another one nonetheless. They're a great way to meet other CP's and expand your network...maybe try taking one of the Exploration Series courses...they're not graded, and they're more or less a series of lectures and such about a given topic at WDW. Here's the link, if you want to check them out :)

Well, the classes last right at 4 hours long and you go once a week. You are guarenteed to have the first half of the day off when you are scheduled for class.

I took the hospitality course and left disappointed. It was nothing more than a regular college course crammed into a 5 month window. I did recieve college credit for it, so it wasnt too bad.

Scheduling made it difficult because I would work until 2:30 am, get home around 3:15 am...get up and be in class by 7:45am and then go right back to work from 2pm-10pm.

If my work schedule was much more consistent, it probably wouldnt have been so bad.

Coursework wasnt difficult at all, and for the most part people tried to conceal their sleeping in class and just turned in work before the due dates.

I was thinking about taking a class as well. I will have just graduated from college, but I figure it's a great opportunity for more networking and meeting more people. Plus, I heard it helps break up your work week since classes change the pace. Any suggestions? I'm primarily interested in arts, like dance and theater, and also psychology in terms of career. How about the creativity class? Or the leadership? And what's the workload for classes like?
