I'm planning a trip for next Christmas and was just wondering what everyone thinks will happen next year when Le Cellier is 2 TS credits for dinner as far as the CP goes? I know this year to get the CP package and eat at Le Cellier, you must use 2 TS credits. So what will happen next year if you want the package? Will you have to use 3?

Nobody has ever charged 3 credits for anything. At a guess it would stay 2 credits.

True, but there is a first for everything! If it does stay 2 credits for the CP package, it will be the BEST deal. It would be like getting a reserved seat for CP for free!

CP: Candlelight Processional

Right now you can use 2 TS credits for a CP dining package. This guarantees you a seat at CP. So, next year since Le Cellier will be 2 TS credits for dinner anyway, if the CP package stays 2 TS credits, it will be a great deal. That's why I was afraid the dinner package would change to 3 credits for Le Cellier.

I guess there isn't any way to know until they release the Candlelight packages for next year. They could also just exempt Le Cellier dinner on the CP package from the dining plan.

I wondered about them not including Le Cellier. That would be a bummer!!!When do they usually release the CP Package info?

This actually made me think of something else. I'm planning on going to WDW next Christmas. I can make my ADR's in June. I plan on getting the DxDDP and really want to go to Le Cellier and do the CP. I know in order to get ressies for Le Cellier I will need to go ahead and make them in June, but I can't reserve the CP dining package until 90 days out, right? How does this work? When I call about the CP, do I just tell them that I already have ressies at Le Cellier (that is IF Le Cellier is a choice for the CP package).

No, the CP dining allotment is separate, like the Fantasmic dining. You can't make a normal ADR a CP ADR. They will hold back a significant amount of dining slots for CP packages, like they did this year, and not release them until CP dining packages can be booked. IIRC it was in late August this year that CP bookings opened.

Thank you for explaining. I think I will still go ahead and get the Le Cellier ressie 180 days out just in case it ends up not being on the CP dining package. I would rather eat at Le Cellier and wait in line for CP than to eat somewhere else and be guaranteed a seat. If it is on the CP dining package and I'm able to reserve it then, I can always cancel my regular ADR. Does this make sense?

and I was thinking about this situation myself. I believe this will be the bargain deal next year at Disney on the DP if Le Cellier will still be doing it.

The Fantasmic package is similar in value. It costs more to do the Fantasmic package yet you can do it for 1 TS; unless, you go to the Brown Derby which is signature.

If it did become 3 credits then I believe many would do OOP for Le Cellier and CP.

I think the fact that they still charge 2 credits for Brown Derby Fantasmic might bode well for them charging 2 credits for Le Cellier CP. If it exists next year. Not to say they will, but they could even remove the entire restaurant from the CP package.
