Cozymel shore excursion question

We're currently booked on the "Catarman Sail and Snorkel". I've recently found out about "Mr. Sanchoz Beach", which seems pretty tempting - cheaper, ability to rent jetskis (something I've ALWAYS wanted to do).

I'd be interested in experiences from both of these options.

ALso, if you have any idea of the cost of extras, like the jetskis, at Mr. Sanchos beach, I'd apreciate hearing it.

Although i have never been to Mr. Sanchos, I have read nothing but good comments about that place on this board. Maybe go to the search forum and enter Mr. Sanchos, and see if you can gather any info that way too...

We just came back from the Western. We did Mr Sanchos Beach and it was ok. We were undecided between Mr Sanchos and Playa Del Sol. We had heard good things about both. We picked Mr Sanchos. I have 3 kids ages 9, 11 and 14. They wanted to do the water trampoline. That was $4 each for 2 hours. Not bad. The kids used it maybe a half hour. My son wanted to rent the jet skis but for $55 for a half hour we said no. As we had already done a snorkeling excursion they didnt want to do any more snorkeling. Coming on to Mr Sanchos you get hit up by a lot of vendors trying to sell their stuff. A polite "no thank you" takes care of it.

I did walk down to (or close to) Playa del Sol and it seemed they had more things going on. Volleyball, the had the Iceberg climber, Water trampolines, jet skis and it also looked a little bigger. Mr Sancho's in my opinion is small. But the price is right!! If I do it again I will try Palya del Sol next time.
