Cozumel/Dzul Ha transportation question

We are thinking of taking a taxi to Dzul Ha on our own to snorkel when we are in Cozumel. I have been able to find approximate taxi fares, but the fact that Dzul Ha is "off the beaten path" worries me. Will we be able to get a taxi back to the Magic when we are ready?

I have been to Cozumel before and visited the "busy" snorkeling sites, and I was hoping to find one that's a bit less crowded... but I don't think I will enjoy myself very much if I'm worrying the whole time about how we will get back!

If you are going by taxi, I'm sure you'll be just fine. We went to cozumel last jan, and rented a car for tooling around. We planned to go to dzul ha for a while, then drive around to the east side and visit some beaches over there. Well, we never saw any signs at all for dzul ha and it is supposed to be fairly close to the cruise ship pier. Noone felt like turning around and searching for it, so we just ended up enjoying the day on the east side...playa bonita, coconuts, and mezcalitos. Boy, they can sure make some good margaritas over there!
