Cozumel Beach Break Reports??

I have been researching the DCL excursion and wondered if anyone had any detailed reports and maybe some pictures to share?

I know it's expensive, and I know we can do it on our own, but the big plus is the transportation from the ship. We are traveling with 2 small children and don't care to mess around with public transporation.

We were going to do the beach break also but then I talked to two friends of ours who went on the Western cruise last year. They did it on their own. Their two kids were 6 & 8 at the time. They just got a taxi at the port. They said there were plenty of them there. It cost them $15 for the taxi and $8 each for the beach.
