Hi again!

Another dilemma here - we're thinking of where to eat on our day in the Disneyland Park on the Saturday.

First we were all for the Cowbook Cookout lunch thing, especially with there being characters and all, but now we've also seen in the Brits Guide the Plaza Gardens buffet with drinks for roughly the same price (although I know this isn't a character meal)...

I've read mixed reviews re: Plaza Gardens but a buffet would appeal to me.... Argh decisions!!!

Just wondering what you guys would choose between the two??

I'd go for the Plaza Gardens. But you are comparing apples and oranges with those 2 venues :). Full buffet meal with unlimited soft drinks and no characters, versus character counter service meal (apparently loads of food though).

We did Cowboy Cookout (twice) back in February and must say we thoroughly enjoyed it! It is so worth the money - You get so much food (nice aswel) and the character interaction was just amazing! We took our little girl who was 2 on the trip and we liked it so much the first time that we went back before we went home (always a good sign if you return, especially on the same trip)!

We will definately be returning on our October trip! :) Have never been to Plaza Gardens so can not comment or compare sorry :) If you have kids though, they will love Cowboy Cookout

Totally agree :thumbsup2 the food selection at Plaza Gardens always looks good especially if you go early on but I'm extra biased as I don't like characters

Thanks again for all the help :)

We love characters, but would have already done Cafe Mickey the night before. I'm also now liking the look of the food in Plaza Gardens...

I think that's what I'm going to opt for then. Unless my friend reeeeaaaaaally wants to do another character meal then I guess she'll win because I'm a sucker :rotfl:

Thanks again - it's always good to hear first hand on here
