We’re headed to Disneyland and universal Hollywood in a few days. Should we bring our vaccine cards with us? Will offsite restaurants require them? Would a picture of the card be sufficient? I’d rather not bring the cards cause I don’t want them getting lost or damaged.

I googled but can’t find any recent info on this.

Very few places in L.A. County are asking for proof of vaccination now. The few times we've been asked lately (almost all in L.A. County and once in OC), our digital cards have been fine. Those places also accepted a photo of the vaccine card with photo ID.

I was at Disneyland a few weeks ago and was not asked for vaccination proof. I don't think anyone requires it anymore. You could look up the LA county or Orange County health departments to be sure, but I haven't heard of anyone asking for the cards lately.

99.9% of places will never ask you for it. But I did visit a museum recently that was checking for proof of vaccination and still required masks. If there's no chance of you needing to take an international flight out from your trip to Disneyland, you should be able to pull up a digital copy of your vaccine card as sufficient proof.

Yeah, the only place I have gone in the last six months that required vaccine proof and mask was The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures in LA. To the OP, Disneyland never required a vaccine card for entry though masks have been required in the past and are now only recommended. Some LA area theme parks did have to check vaccine cards for a while and there have been restrictive rules for businesses in a number of counties as recently as several months ago, but most of that was dropped and doesn't seem likely to move back in that direction even as case counts rise and fall. Vaccine proof and masks will be required to attend my son's graduation next month, but again that is a special case. I recommend simply checking websites for covid rules for any museums or special venues you plan to visit, but otherwise expect to go to restaurants, stores, and theme parks without any need to show a vaccine card.

The only places I have been in the last 6 months that require proof are the theatres (Ahmanson, Pantages, Dynasty Typewriter etc.) and my place of employment requires them for anyone visiting/or working in the premises (or a negative PCR test within 72 hours).
