Covid testing at Pearson

Hi
We are about to book a last minute trip towards the end of the month. My Dh was wondering what kind of random testing is done at Pearson upon arrival? I know it’s the PcR but some people are saying is the quick nose swab and some told us it’s the deep nasal one.
we would also like to know which method of pcr test is done at the free walgreen Covid testing to come back into Canada?

It is the ID Now NAAT test at Walgreens which is the shallow nose swab.

Also to add to this it is self administered so it makes it a bit easier.
I've been through pearson twice in the last month and neither myself or anyone I was travelling with were pulled for random testing so I couldn't say about those tests.
