COVID Face Mask Suggestions

Anyone have suggestions on a type or brand of face mask that will meet Disney expectations and be comfortable to wear for a week at WDW? I understand that DIS is requiring masks that tie or loop over the ears, which would eliminate the option of using a gaitor. Thank you in advance for your suggestions.

Double-check on the gaitor. I think the keys are that the covering cover nose and mouth, and that it fit snugly under the chin. That last part rules out the face shield and possibly bandannas.

I've been going to the parks since they've opened back up and the only mask that it's bearable to use for me for hours is the blue surgical ones

I second this. I have seen a lot of people at Disney Springs with gaitors on. Unless it might be different in the parks.

Here is the description of the mask requirement that DIS posted on their website. I don’t believe the gaitor would meet the third bullet point, but I could be wrong.

All face coverings should:

• Fully cover an individual’s nose and mouth and allow the Guest to remain hands-free
• Fit snugly but comfortably against the side of the face
• Be secured with ties or ear loops
• Be made of breathable material, either disposable or reusable

Being in Texas its really hot here I have found the mask made for working out are the best.

Hello! I have an upcoming WDW trip but I'm not looking forward to wearing a mask in the Florida summer heat. It's bad enough without a mask. So what mask , paper or cotton or some other material, is more breathable and cooling for a long day in the parks? Or is that even possible? And do you have a favorite brand?
