Once cleared go up escalators and it's window 15. We tried to upgrade at port on Feb 5, 2022 from a 5A (7 nights on Fantasy). Cost for Concierge family Verandah was an additional $3200 and over 6K for one bedroom. Too rich for our blood.

On the Jan 22nd Fantasy, we were told to check in on board because they needed to see how many tested positive at port to know which cabins were available. We had 4 in our party, upgraded from 5B to 4B for $370

I booked a 7A GTY and was assigned 5A. How would this upgrade process work at the port if we wanted to try for family verandah or concierge? Would they take the price we paid for the 7A or the price that the 5A is?

They figure the price difference from the lower cost 7A to whatever you wish to upgrade to. NOT from what you are assigned, as that's not what you paid.

Thanks I've heard it's based upon what you already paid. So with my party of 5 wonder how much cheaper it would be. Not a ton.
What time did you arrive at port? Wonder how late they might be available.

The prices are crazy to upgrade now. In 2014 on the Dream we upgraded from a Veranda to the Walt Disney suite for around $1,000 for a three day B2B. Photo little blurry.
