I have stayed at BWPPI and the only reason to stay there is for a place to sleep. There are little to no amenities. If your going to stay offsite to "just try it" or save money then I would do Fairfield Inn or Hojo. Hojo's rooms are showing age but they have a larger pool area while FFI has better rooms (beds, pillows) but little to no pool. I do like that FFI is closer though.
