Hi all.

DH found this link today -

http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=mafwLffVbVM

He's not sure where he found it - typical;) , may even be from the DIS Boards but I thought it was so good I'd post it.

We'll definately be trying this walk on the next trip!

What does everyone think?

There are two arcades on either side of Main St behind the shops. As well as the detail a great short cut to avoid the crowds during a parade/at park close :)

Hi. Thanks for posting that:thumbsup2 With only 13 days til we go on our 1st trip, we are soaking up every bit of info and will definately look out for this.:magnify:

Thanks for the link, although I've walked down the Main Street arcades many times, I have never come across the covered walkway from Frontierland to Adventureland, I'm going to have another good look at this video tomorrow. :)
I have to go bed right now.

This path was marked in the early maps of the park, back in the early nineties. I'll try to find and post it here. Surprisingly, very few people know about this, and even less use it.

It's a pity, but actually around the Agrabah Cafe there is an uncovered part of this walkway.

But, anyway it is veeery useful if the rain catches you off guard at the entry to the Pirates of the Caribbean...

We'd heard about part of this walk - go along one of the arcades (the one on the left hand side of Main St) and it brings you out into Frontierland.
But until DH found this link I never realised you could walk so far undercover.

Definately on the to-do list for the next trip.

We use the walkway quite often. Its great in summer as its shaded and great in Winter as its covered and usually a way of escaping the crowds as well.

I love looking at all the posters along there.

Thanks for the link to the video Pinkradleygirl ~ I started to watch it then realised it was as guided tour so decided not to watch any more as I am going to treat myself to one in the summer and don't want to spoil it.

:yay: :woohoo: :cheer2: When i went over 6 years ago it was in the summer but i remember commenting on the lack of cover with the weather being more wet than in usa.
We are going in two weeks time so i will not tell my other half and suprise the family with my inside knowledge when it does rain as i'm sure it will.:cool1: :yay: :hippie:
