My favorite hotel offsite!
I think it's safe to say that you'll be a little cramped. I'd say without an Disney moderate or above resort, or an offsite suite, you're going to be cramped. But the hotel is great.
Good points: The hotel is pretty new (March 2001, I believe) and the rooms and commons show it. The beds were simply awsome. Get a balcony if you can, preferably overlooking the pool area. There's good onsite food, and nice restaurants just off site (within walking distance). The location, just a short mile from DTD and the Epcot/MGM area, can't be beat (don't get back on Route 4, ask hotel staff to tell you how to get to the Hotel Blvd. Plaza entrance). Location may be what I liked best. And it's a very, very secure property.
But the neatest thing is the pool area, and so few people seemed to use it. A zero-entry pool, and it's indoor/outdoor, seperated by a waterfall. Kids seem to love it, even us over-40 kids. It also has one indoor and one outdoor hot tub. And there's a gazebo in the pool area where DW and I ate a few meals. Plenty of chairs, etc.
I can't speak for how you'll deal with five in a room, but the rooms are certainly no bigger nor smaller than others in that price range. And at under fifty bucks, I'll bet you'll find it a major find.
Enjoy!
